Love the style and they are becoming very expensive if decent

Definitely rule over here!
cant say there are many vehicles that handle the bush roads for as long out here.
we have had a troop carrier that was bought used and has spent its entire life with us on bush roads being driven by our staff... still going strong.
Just a note, the road speed around here is limited by the condition of the roads. i push hard on these roads and it takes me 5 hrs to cover the 165km from here to the next town

I have owned 5 Land Cruisers over the years. Currently own 2.

One was a 40 series and all the others 80 series (most readily available here in the States).

I'd love to be able to get some of the models sold overseas....but am quite happy with the 80 series, especially with lockers and an OME suspension.

LANDCRUISER the best 4x4 x FAR (YES .not landrover)

In SA we used a lot of Land Rover and a few Land cruisers in the military. The Landcruisers was the only vehicle could tackle the same road or conditions as the tanks, 8x8 and 6x6 armoured cars and trucks. Although not with the same same speed and agility but they would navigate the most rigorous terrain. Breakdowns doesn't exist if the vehicle is well maintained.

During all my hunting trips the Landcruisers outperform any other vehicle in any category except in luxury and comfort, On one farm we used a Unimog and only the Lancruiser could follow the Unimog in the mountains and heavy off road terrain

Landruiser ********* Thumps Up

Land cruiser and unimog, dominate on so many levels. Wish I had a unimog to go alongside my cruiser.

Nothing beats a Landcruiser, but one thing, mud and they a bitch to get out.

Well yes, lockers only get you stuck further, but handy none the less.
;)

My first 4x4 was an Austin Gypsy- it wasn't fast but nothing could stop it.

One problem I am finding on the newer Landcruisers, the front hubs give problems, I have replaced them on 3 cruisers, don't think I ever replaced them on the old manual ones.

A light load, only 48 paxs off to collect elephant meat.

@Bullthrower338 , if it wasn't for the fact they driving on the left side, would have thought it was Texas.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

No doubt, but not only are they on they driving on the left, they do not have any landscaping tools hanging all over the truck to prove the authenticity that I took this in Africa. Lmao
Cheers,
Cody

Would love a 4.2V8 King Cab.... just can't get them in the UK...

Hallo Marius- do you have possibilities for stags in September during the roar? Where are your hunting areas in Romania?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another rifle but would love to see your rifle first, any way you could forward a pic or two?
Thanks,

Love your rifle! I'm needing a heavier rifle for Africa. Sold my .375 Dakota Safari several trips ago. Would you have any interest in a trade of some sort involving the custom 338/06 I have listed here on the site ( I have some room on my asking price. I also have a large quantity of the reloading components and new Redding dies as well as a box of A-Square Dead Tough ammo.
