The 375 is a versatile cartridge, It deserves a scope that can leverage the versatility. Here’s my nomination for such a scope.

Meopta makes the exact same scope for $1000 less, probably not as nice, but very closeThe 375 is a versatile cartridge, It deserves a scope that can leverage the versatility. Here’s my nomination for such a scope.

When I scoped my Defiance .308 my top choice would have been the Swarovski Z6i 1.7-10. I couldn't bring myself to spend the about $2600 on one at the time, so I also considered the comparable Meopta, but couldn't find one to try out. In the end, I decided to roll the dice on a 1.5-9x44 GPO for the .308. I was happy enough with it that I bought a second one for a .375 Ruger, but I still haven't compared it back to back with a Swarovski. I should probably avoid doing that as it could get very expensive.Meopta makes the exact same scope for $1000 less, probably not as nice, but very close
Swarovski Z6, 1.7-10x42, with illuminated reticle. Rusan swing mounts with 6 screws on the front ring.what are you running on your 375 that is currently available?
If you ever make it to STL I am happy to show you some meopta's. I have a half dozen of themWhen I scoped my Defiance .308 my top choice would have been the Swarovski Z6i 1.7-10. I paid about $850 each for the GPO's. They have the magnification range I want on both that .308 and a .375, illumination, and some simple mil holdovers which I like for range shooting but never really need for hunting. I didn't want a straight tube, especially on the .308, since the larger objective is so much brighter at dawn and dusk.
The Z6i appears to be down to $2000 now, which I probably would have paid if I didn't already have the GPO's. The new Z5i+ 2-10 at about $1850 would be another strong contender. The Meopta 1.7-10 looks to be about $1600. I'd probably buy the Z6i for the extra $400 just because I like the illumination controls better on it and it's a bit lighter, but that's more personal preference than anything else.
The Leupold VX5 2-10 is also well-liked here, but I'm not really a fan of my 3-15 version. Glass is nice, but I think that Leupold's build quality has slipped a bit in recent years. They do offer the best scope caps money can buy though. I personally think that my GPO's are nicer scopes for less money.
I'm a big fan of Trijicon scopes as well, especially the Accupoints. Unfortunately, they skip from a 1-6x24 to a 2.5-12.5x42 in the newer generation. If they offered something like a 1.5-8x42 or 2-10x42 with a fixed parallax I'd have bought two of those instead of the GPO's. I do have the 2.5-12.5 on my .300WM and like it but thought it was just a bit much for the .308 and .375. In the older generation Accupoints they offer a 3-9x40 and a 2.5-10x56. I think that they might be a little short on eye relief for a .375 and getting the 2.5-10x56 low enough might be a challenge. If Trijicon has a model with the features you want I don't think you can go wrong for the price. It's virtually guaranteed that I'll be buying a 1-6 Accupoint once my .458WM project is done.
