Before you invest in reloading dies, etc, do try the Barnes factory 300g TSX loads. They are sub MOA in my 375 at 100y and chrono well over the box MV at about 2580 fps with SD's in the single digits. I would have a hard time improving on that with my reloads. I just bought 10 boxes of it and called it done.

I load 67 gr of RL 15 and Barnes 300 gr TSX's which are chronographed at 2475 fps here at my home in central Wyoming. If and when I run out of the powder I will try some H4350.
But for now, I cannot argue with cloverleafing 3 shot groups at 100 yards and the velocity is the absolute sweet spot for the 300 gr Barnes TSX bullet.

Im old school and use IMR 4064.. I started using it a long time ago and have tried to develop loads for as many of my rifles that like it as I can just to keep reloading logistics as simple as possible.. its burn rate and performance is almost identical to Varget, and its been a whole lot easier to source during periods that powders become difficult to get your hands on than Varget.. its just slightly more temperature sensitive, and the granules are bigger and a little bit harder to meter..

that said, I get a consistent 2420 FPS shooting 300gr Barnes TSX using IMR 4064, which, according to the experts (Im not one of them) is about perfect.. and I can easily drop a 5 round group inside a 1" circle with my Win 70 Stainless Classic.. so.. I'll just keep going old school (at least until the 12-15lbs of IMR 4064 that Ive got on hand runs out )...

I recently purchased a new production Winchester Safari Express in 375 H&H and it’s been great. The most accurate factory ammunition I’ve found are the Hornady 300 gr DGX Bonded. I’m getting ready to start reloading for this rifle and I’m wanting to replicate the factory 300 gr Hornady DGX loads. I’m planning on hunting with open sights.

I was considering using Varget for my loads, which works good on my 308 and 556 loads. I’ve also got some H4350 which works awesome in might 3006 and 300 WSM as well. Open to suggestions, but specifically looking for which powder would be best suited for 300 gr heavy bullets, Varget or H4350?

3 shot group at 100 yds. Approximately 2.5”. Love this rifle.

I use RL 15 and IMR4350. For 300gr bullets I keep velocity in the 2500fps range. Very accurate and deadly

Varget is the perfect powder for medium bore cartridges like the 375 H&H
Both groups are 1/2 inch or better, don’t worry about the slightly lighter bullet of the 270 Barnes, they don’t loose weight

My .375/06IMP went 2,740fps with the TSX 270gr. and put them into 3/4" at 100 meters (109yds). When I chronographed them, it spooked me, so I dropped the load 3gr. and those went 2,650fps using H4895. I figured that was OK, as my 9.3x57 ran 270's at 2,675fps using BLC2 at identical case capacity.
Those TSX 270's are torpedos.

Drop a grain and try the LRX, they have a flatter trajectory

I shot a bunch of Barnes 350gr. back in the late 70's, but I think I used the old H4831. Long time ago & my BRNO didn't like them for some reason. Seems to me they were running in the 2,400fps range.

I’m just guessing you will have a case capacity issue with that long bullet. Might need to use a drop tube.
I don’t think the north fork is much shorter than the Barnes.

If you have a 375 with a 1in14 twist you might struggle to get good groups with 300-350gn projectiles,
This has been my experience!!
However I do think 270gn monolithic bullets sitting on top of Varget are optimum for the 375!!
Barnes and Hammer are great examples! these are extremely accurate and efficient projectiles in this caliber,
Flat trajectories and devastating performance.
Of course this is just my opinion.

I shoot Varget and barnes 300grain @2550fps tsx out of my Win M70 375HH. I get under MOA with it out to 300 yards from a bench. Have not tried it further, If I needed to shoot further I would work up a 270LRX load.
