Folks,

I don't have a .308Win in the stable anymore. So no sense in keeping this brass I have for it. Here's what I have:

136 pieces of Remington (R-P). Fired at least once, but I really don't know how many times.
33 pieces of Lapua, also fired at least once, but again I don't know how many times.
23 pieces of Lapua, these are brand new unfired.

All of the brass that's been fired has been resized/deprimed, trimmed if needed and cleaned. They're ready to load short of maybe running the expander ball thru the necks in case of any shipping dents.

I want to sell the whole lot together. I'm thinking $75 shipped to your door. If you'll be coming to the DSC convention next week and want this, I'll bring it there and drop the price to $65.

I'll take it Phil.

Happy to meet you somewhere at DSC, buy a cup of coffee, and hand you cash for the brass... :)

Will you be in a booth for Bos en Dal Safaris? If so, I can bring it there or alternatively you can drop by the JKO Safaris booth. I don't remember our booth number off hand, but it'll be to the left wing as you come into the convention hall. All the way to the left near the food court.

We'll get it figured out one way or another.

I'll swing by the JKO booth..

Im volunteering with the Move In - Move Out team at DSC this year (Ive done that all years except 1 since becoming a life member) and will be on the floor Wednesday morning helping vendors and exhibitors get their booths set up.. I'll look for you guys on Wednesday and would be happy to help you get everything out of the truck and onto the floor if the timing is right...

I'm doubtful we'll be at the convention center on Thursday.. I've got the Bos en Dal party on Thursday evening and we'll have a lot of prep work to do for that.. we might make it for a short while in the morning.. but I think that's a little iffy...

But we'll definitely be there most of the day on Friday... worst case scenario, if I don't catch you on Wednesday or Thursday, I'll stop by the JKO booth on Friday with cash in hand...

I’ll shoot you a text when we’re in the convention center on Wednesday. If that doesn’t happen, then Friday would be great. Keep my cell number handy and give me a call to make sure I’m at the booth, usually I am on Fridays as It gets busy.

Just wanted to follow up on this thread and say THANK YOU to @PHOENIX PHIL ...

Had a chance to catch up with Phil at the AH Dinner on Friday night and swap some cash for brass...

The brass is in absolutely PERFECT condition.. better than Phil described.. when he says its ready for reloading, that's what he means... every single primer pocket is spotless.. the interior of every single case is spotless.. the outsides are beautifully clean... and after checking a handful for dimensions (finding every one I checked to be perfect), its clear they were all carefully resized, trimmed, deburred, etc..

Took me less than 20 minutes to get them all primed up... I'll spend a little time at the reloading bench this weekend filling them all with my pet IMR 4064 / Barnes TTSX load.. and should be set for the next several years for deer, pigs, and most plains game (we've taken a 308 to South Africa on all but one trip and have taken everything from springbok to zebra with them... the plan is to take one of the 308's back to Bos en Dal this next july and use it for blesbok and warthog (daughters quarry), and perhaps chase a few blue wildebeest around with it as well... (everything else will be pursued with a 375 or a bow)...

thanks again Phil! you definitely hooked me up with a great deal..

Those Frankford Arsenal tumblers combined with the steel pins do their job well in cleaning the brass. Glad you are happy with them!

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
