Worked up a load for @AZ KJ and his M70 in .375H&H. I had only partially worked these before in my rifle, but my last notes said 75-76gr of IMR4350. After a couple of not great grouping but okay (1.25-1.5" @ 100yards), I checked the action screws on the rifle. Both, but particularly the rear needed tightening.

Voila.....these are seated to SAAMI length of 3.6". Upper image is at 75.5gr and the lower at 76gr of powder.

Note: Both of these images need to be rotated 90 degrees clock wise. Little help @BRICKBURN please?

Looking good!

Velocity?

Didn’t chrono yet. I’d guess 2550 +/-. What I’ve found with the North Forks is they’ll give similar velocity as other bullets with a few grains less of the same powder. My 78gr load for 300gr A-Frames runs 2550fps.

Winner!

Looks like a winner to me! Nice shootin’

I need to know if this is legit. Photo with today's paper would do it.

Thanks
