Need to replace a dead RMR (Trijicon says not worth fixing) and I want to lower it as much as possible.
Rifle is Krieghoff Classic 5 with the factory cut. Factory plate absent, but I have to believe it’s available. The mounted Henneberger QR is Weaver, and there is an aluminum Weaver (?) section in place of the factory plate.
This existing arrangement has the bottom of the RMR a good 1/4” above the rib. Usable, but we can do better, no?
So. Simple, low low low, doesn’t have to be QR, can (should?) fit into factory plate slot.
No drilling no fffing about.
And while am happy to buy from Europe, lately that’s been ticklish. So available here and now to USA.
Your experiences and recommendations, please.
