Since you enjoyed hunting so much, perhaps you should talk to Hubby about hunting opportunities closer to home. I live in Michigan but hunted "Hogs" in Texas several times and had a blast. I'd bet you'd enjoy that as well. BTW thanks for sharing your adventure.

Thanks for the tip. My husband and I have considered doing that but have not found a guide out that way.

Way to go girl...keep it up!!
And, don't feel bad about the one that got away...there's not a hunter alive that has not experienced a lost wounded animal...and if there is, then their turn will come as sure as the sun rises every morning.
