In memorium - Bossie Mostert from Limpopo Big Game Safaris

Rust zacht broeder! Sterke aan familie en vrienden.

Damn…a number of fallen this week

I am shocked and saddened. Bossie was a fine gentleman and an outstanding PH. My deepest condolences.

Bossie and family have had such a tough decade. Lost home and contents in tornado and rain. Wife died. Gored by Buffalo and nearly died. Trying to raise a young boy on his own while living the life of a PH/outfitter. Loosing his father and now passing away himself. A 21st century Job.

AH has put people with a common passion in communication with each other. WhatsApp changed how those people communicate. An individual half a world away you never would have met becomes a friend.

Bossie was one of the good guys. Prayers for his wife and DJ.

Will be keeping his friends and family in my thoughts and prayers. May he Rest in Peace.

Rest in piece. Condolences to family and friends.

Sincere condolences and prayers for his family and team.

Prayers sent to all of the people Bossie has touched in his life. Condolences to the friends and family of a fine gentleman.

Had not met him but sounds like a wonderful PH and person, condolences to his family and friends.

I've tried to write this and let's just say there has been some editing errors.

Marius,.
Thank you.
This is a hard pill to swallow.

I had the good honor of hunting with Bossie in 2021.
I was his first client post-Covid. It had been cancelled and re-book 3 times I think, from an offer he made here in 2019, maybe early 2020.

What a hunt it was.

He picked me up from Afton House. I was the first in his new camp near Louis Trichard. His son and bride to be were part of the experience.

To Bossie, liz, and his son, I give my deepest respect. He will be missed

Such sad news... our condolences to his family and friends.

Shocked to say the least. I hunted with Bossie back in ‘21 and we kept in regular contact. He was a great hunter, driven to succeed for his clients. My son Grant hunted his rhino with Bossie and it made for a most memorable trip.

My sincere condolences to his family and friends, you remain in my prayers.

RIP my friend, he will be sorely missed.

RIP Bossie.

I spoke with him a number of times and was supposed to take a small group to hunt with him in 2020 but covid came along.

Marius than you for letting us all know.

Wow… I saw where his father, CB passed away a couple of weeks ago so when my son-in-law texted me regarding this post I thought he had misunderstood that it was his father.

Very sad to hear. Bossie was full of life and excited about his safari concession in Moz.

Condolences to Lizzy and DJ and their family and friends.

Thank you for the LIKE on my old post. It brought back memories as I lost her a year and a half ago, at 18+ years.
