My wife, as a non-hunting companion, and myself are looking toward '27 for non-exportable elephant combined with either:
1. Buffalo
2. Croc/Hippo

Additionally I would be interested in a few additional plains game such as Waterbuck...depending on what Africa offers :)

We have some excellent options available in Namibia’s Caprivi Strip that would suit exactly what you are looking for. We currently have one non-trophy/non-exportable elephant still available for the 2027 season, which can be combined with trophy or non-trophy buffalo, hippo, crocodile, and a selection of plains game.


We also have excellent opportunities for species such as sable, eland, waterbuck and other plains game, depending on what you would like to hunt and what Africa offers during your safari.


Our 7-day non-trophy elephant package is US$22,000 all-inclusive, and the observer/companion rate is US$290 per day.


For buffalo, we can offer both trophy and non-trophy options, while hippo can also be arranged as either trophy or non-trophy, depending on your preference.


The Caprivi offers a truly wild African experience, and I would be happy to put together a personalized safari around your preferred combination of elephant, buffalo/hippo and plains game.


As we have only one non-trophy elephant remaining for the 2027 season, I would recommend getting in touch soon if you are interested in securing it.

Hi Merle,

Your plans for 2027 sound like a fantastic African adventure, and we would be delighted to explore the possibilities with you and your wife.

Our hunting area is situated in southern Mozambique and shares an unfenced boundary with Gonarezhou National Park. The Save River forms our north-eastern boundary, and we do receive permits for both crocodile and hippo, subject to availability and the relevant government approvals.

My recommendation would be to book one of our buffalo packages as the foundation of your safari. Should a non-exportable elephant permit become available during that period, we could then add the elephant to your hunt. These permits are not issued on a guaranteed schedule, but we would keep you fully informed and give you the opportunity should one become available.

Depending on the permits and game available at the time, we could also look at adding crocodile, hippo and plains game such as waterbuck to create a varied and memorable safari.

Your wife would be most welcome in camp as a non-hunting companion. We pride ourselves on warm, personal Tsala hospitality and making the entire experience enjoyable for both the hunter and observer.
