No, but it was based on the German Mauser C96 “Broomhandle”. And it does bring into question the use of a scope and muzzle brake on such a weapon.Was Hans Solo's blaster (Star Wars) made by Blaser?
Went coyote hunting the other night. After a shot it wouldn’t eject spent casing. Went down rabbit hole looking at claw and ejector. All fine. Could not figure it out.
I had the wrong bolt in. That’s a problem, when you have so many you put in the wrong bolt!

I had a little problem with my R8 Professional hunter in .458 lott.
While I was shooting on target, the pistol grip cap popped ! Not completely but it was shaking.
At that time, I had no idea what was wrong ! I simply glued it but I saw some impacts were irregular with vertical groupings.
I had been curious to check. I removed the cap and I saw the long screw was not tighten anymore to the receiver. I use thread lock 243 and I tightened the screw with the Blaser key. Everything is fine now.
The Blaser R8 2.0 stock with its integrated receiver voids this problem even if I had never heard it before.
