I have a 1960 300 HH as well, and she is slick. I wanted a classic rifle in a classic cartridge. This has both. GLWS

the 721,s in original 300 H&H are getting hard to find anymore as alot of them were rechambered to 300 wby. in the 50,s it was a 20.00 job to have it done. loaded right the 300 H&H with stay right with the 300 winchester mag and not to far behind the 300 wby. both my remington and ruger have 26 inch barrels.
 
I have a REM 721 and an Enfield both in 300 H&H. But this mod 70 would go great with my Mod 70 416 Rem. :ROFLMAO:

the winchester md 70 ran from mid 30,s to 63-64 and then died for the snobs, the rem 721 and 700 series rifles just kept chugging along from 1948 to early 2020 i think and thats alot of years and rifles.
 
My Pre 64 MDL 70 300HH has accounted for several bear, mule deer and elk. My kids will need to sell it when I pass on.
