I FINALLY got around to completing my animals from my 2021 hunt with Dalton and York in the OMAY. The smaller buffalo is a euro-type skull, and the baboon, well that one isn't finished. I did intentionally drag my feet getting the buffalo done as I wasn't exactly sure where it was going to go in the trophy room. Actually had a friend stop by my house and suggested if I moved around a few things, this space would open up.
Report from my May hunt

Oh, and excellent space saving idea on the 90 degree base/display. I don't recall seeing that before. Any guesstimate on how many hours you have in the buffalo? Beautiful detail!

Very nice!

I really didn't keep track too close as I'd work on it here and there when the mood struck me. I know the pictures don't show it too well, but it has a slight open mouth. That was an extra hour than usual getting it put together.
ROUGH estimate on hours total- 14-16 (obviuosly I didn't have to cape, flesh, salt etc altho I did request the skinners make a specific cut in the back)

What a delay. Completely unacceptable! You need to find a new taxidermist!!! :) :) :)

Seriously, awesome work! Love the buffalo!
AND my taxidermist occasionally is sleeping with my wife !!!

Love all the character on the Buffalo, beautiful work. Wished more taxidermists would show the scars, dirt, etc., on the mounts, especially on an old Buffalo.

Preach it brother, the last thing I want in a buffalo is a clean buffalo!

I found this post from my original hunting report in 2021. I'd say I stayed on course

I think forum prohibits making reference or giving personal references to PH/Outfitters that don't advertise on this forum.

But you can call me. I would be happy to discuss Cape Buffalo .
