You’d think someone on either side would realize how well a center left or center right (based on the party) would poll and run away with a landslide. It's all beginning to get a little old, now.

Trump floats renaming Strait of Hormuz the 'Trump Strait'
U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright told CNBC that more than 17 million barrels of oil transited the strait on Monday, a wartime record.www.cnbc.com
My 5-6 closest friends, like myself, are all GOP. All of them now agree, this is becoming a failure of a presidency.
What's worse is who the dems are considering putting up in 2028. Not good.

I hadn't heard that one yet. Every day it gets whackyer. So why are you surprised? Couldn't you figure out Trump was over the edge painting pictures of himself on the internet as Jesus with soldiers praying to him? Naming the Straight of Hormuz after himself is nuts but it pales in comparison. It's all beginning to get a little old, now.

Not watched....but let her loose as the grim reaper in UK.....fkn excellentI swear this will be the last of these AI produced renditions of Kipling's poetry by Amelia that I'll post, but I had been hoping they had done "Gunga Din" which I think is my favorite poem by him. Even memorized it and for a reading in English Lit back in highschool.
I will admit, Amelia as the grim reaper toward the end is a bit of over exuberance by the AI program.
You may talk o' gin and beer
When you're quartered safe out 'ere,
An' you're sent to penny-fights an' Aldershot it;
But when it comes to slaughter
You will do your work on water,
An' you'll lick the bloomin' boots of 'im that's got it.
Now in Injia's sunny clime,
Where I used to spend my time
A-servin' of 'Er Majesty the Queen,
Of all them blackfaced crew
The finest man I knew
Was our regimental bhisti, Gunga Din.
He was "Din! Din! Din!
You limpin' lump o' brick-dust, Gunga Din!
Hi! slippery ~hitherao~!
Water, get it! ~Panee lao~! [Bring water swiftly.]
You squidgy-nosed old idol, Gunga Din."
The uniform 'e wore
Was nothin' much before,
An' rather less than 'arf o' that be'ind,
For a piece o' twisty rag
An' a goatskin water-bag
Was all the field-equipment 'e could find.
When the sweatin' troop-train lay
In a sidin' through the day,
Where the 'eat would make your bloomin' eyebrows crawl,
We shouted "Harry By!" [Mr. Atkins's equivalent for "O brother."]
Till our throats were bricky-dry,
Then we wopped 'im 'cause 'e couldn't serve us all.
It was "Din! Din! Din!
You 'eathen, where the mischief 'ave you been?
You put some ~juldee~ in it [Be quick.]
Or I'll ~marrow~ you this minute [Hit you.]
If you don't fill up my helmet, Gunga Din!"
'E would dot an' carry one
Till the longest day was done;
An' 'e didn't seem to know the use o' fear.
If we charged or broke or cut,
You could bet your bloomin' nut,
'E'd be waitin' fifty paces right flank rear.
With 'is ~mussick~ on 'is back, [Water-skin.]
'E would skip with our attack,
An' watch us till the bugles made "Retire",
An' for all 'is dirty 'ide
'E was white, clear white, inside
When 'e went to tend the wounded under fire!
It was "Din! Din! Din!"
With the bullets kickin' dust-spots on the green.
When the cartridges ran out,
You could hear the front-files shout,
"Hi! ammunition-mules an' Gunga Din!"
I shan't forgit the night
When I dropped be'ind the fight
With a bullet where my belt-plate should 'a' been.
I was chokin' mad with thirst,
An' the man that spied me first
Was our good old grinnin', gruntin' Gunga Din.
'E lifted up my 'ead,
An' he plugged me where I bled,
An' 'e guv me 'arf-a-pint o' water-green:
It was crawlin' and it stunk,
But of all the drinks I've drunk,
I'm gratefullest to one from Gunga Din.
It was "Din! Din! Din!
'Ere's a beggar with a bullet through 'is spleen;
'E's chawin' up the ground,
An' 'e's kickin' all around:
For Gawd's sake git the water, Gunga Din!"
'E carried me away
To where a dooli lay,
An' a bullet come an' drilled the beggar clean.
'E put me safe inside,
An' just before 'e died,
"I 'ope you liked your drink", sez Gunga Din.
So I'll meet 'im later on
At the place where 'e is gone --
Where it's always double drill and no canteen;
'E'll be squattin' on the coals
Givin' drink to poor damned souls,
An' I'll get a swig in hell from Gunga Din!
Yes, Din! Din! Din!
You Lazarushian-leather Gunga Din!
Though I've belted you and flayed you,
By the livin' Gawd that made you,
You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din!

Just sent it to you WhatsAppNot watched....but let her loose as the grim reaper in UK.....fkn excellent![]()

You might want to ask around, $250 is bottom of end. 2x4 exterior walls, foam insulation, stock cabinets.Hell it’s $250 per square foot in my area to build, land is 100k per acre depending on location, my neighbor practically lives in a doghouse, but it sits on 150 acres of prime river frontage and I-10 frontage, which baffles me that he lives in a shack and could sell /lease
A small piece of the land near the highway for millions and retire from water well drilling and hay farming, but to each their own!
my sister just sold her house in California ( a 2-1) for 3 million, this country has gone nuts imo
Entry level in my area is a bit over $300 a foot. Average is closer to $400.You might want to ask around, $250 is bottom of end. 2x4 exterior walls, foam insulation, stock cabinets.
I would love $250 a square foot on my remodel and addition. It’s closer to $350 and that’s on the low end. I am just south of you.
We didn’t even need cages
Yes, I believe I’ve seen that documentary. Neighbors near our farm took out two of them (Samar cobras) a few months ago and everyone in the area was notified within minutes- BOLO! Cobra predators are a mixed bag there with the rare Philippine eagle on Mindanao probably being number one. I’m sure civets take a few small cobras. Mongoose populations are spotty with Palawan island being the only officially documented area. However, I did see what appeared to be a captive mongoose in a worker community in a large banana plantation in Mindanao a few years ago. Cobras are nothing to mess around with!I subscribe to a YouTube channel called the Cobra King. He's a snake catcher on Luzon Island. Ive seen him pull Cobra's out of many of those little shanty homes in rural areas.
Ok..how to respond to this one....sigh.
Can’t be too careful, especially with the little onesYes, I believe I’ve seen that documentary.
