I sold my pre 64 Winchester in 257 Roberts buyer had complications it's a real good shooter , great coyote and deer . after moving to Idaho I like to carry something bigger .it has a schmidt bender glass $ 3200 with scope 2200 without quite a bit of reloading stuff.

Was stock refinished? Looks like an original but darker and immaculate. Obviously after market butt pad.

How's barrel? Good rifling? No rust? Not reblued?
 
I love my 257 M70.

Nice rifle I have the new Ruger Hawkeye in that caliber and love it. Good luck. Looking for a 25-06 or 30-06 or 270 maybe

The stock was refinished by me rifle is very accurate under 1 inch if I still lived in Minnesota it would not be for sale
