We are flying into capetown before our safari for a couple days to sight see before we fly into Port Elizabeth for our safari. We hired gracy travel and they are putting us up in a motel that will let us keep our guns In our room. Anybody do anything similar? I'm a little nervous after reading some of the crime that occurs between the airport and capetown. Any advice or Insight? Thanks

I’ve never left them in the room. Always stayed at a boutique hotel with a walk in safe. Are they safer there, or just gives me a false sense of security? IDK.

I stayed at hotels that Debbie via Gracy setup for me in Cape Town and other spots. It was all good. Felt secure. A little weird not having rifles with me in room, but was without issue.

Working with Gracy as we speak for the same thing! One night on the way to Namibia and two nights on the way back.
