What big gun do you shoot the most just for fun?

I have a 458 lott barrel for my T/C encore that I got for no practical reason since it was pretty cheap. It's fun for a couple shots. My rifle forend doesn't fit it so I have to use a pistol forend on it.

It is. If you look closely you'll notice I'm wearing a leather glove, and that's because when I shot it without one the trigger guard was making my finger bleed.
 
My Lott fits me well and has the right stock shape and weight that recoil is perfectly manageable. It whacks an AR500 1/2 man plate with authority.

Then I got the .505 Gibbs… it knocks the same target over backwards :LOL:

My friends think I’m nuts…I think it’s fun.

Not a single one of them. I pull them out to practice and stay in shape, but I find none of them (.338WM, .375H&H, .416 Rigby, .470NE) particularly fun. I just put a new to me Zeiss Varipoint red dot scope on a new to me M70 .375 H&H. 12 rounds total from on paper at 25 yards off the bench to final 1” group (3 rounds) off sticks.

I very good shooting my big bore rifles, but I wouldn’t pull any of them out for fun. That’s what my .22lr is for.
 
My .375 is ported on both sides and is super gentle to shoot. All my kids shoot it just fine. Maybe see about getting it ported?
 
Largest rifle I own, is a .375 Holland & Holland Magnum.

But I really find the .505 Gibbs and .600 Nitro Express fun to shoot.

I had a T/c Contender in .35 rem and 45-70. I wouldn’t want to shoot a Lott in any T/c platform. I used to load cast 300 grs for the t/c
 
14 bore English Sporting Rifle my bro built for me back in 1986. I've shot it at least 8,000 times.
Both my CZ .22 Hornet's (2) and Ruger#1 in .218Bee have seen more shooting(gophers).
 
I shoot both my 375 and my 416 "for fun" which means I put 5-10 rounds through them once every couple months. I have Falcon Strike recoil systems on both so recoil is very manageable and it actually does become fun. The most painful thing honestly is buying the ammo
 
500 Jeffery, because of the nostalgia and the very loud bang.
 
My 28 gauge red label when I have the 410 briley tubes in it. Basically feels like a toy and is a blast to break clays with.
 
For fun, my .338 and .375. Yesterday, I went out and shot a practice session as part of getting ready to head to Coutada 9 in a couple weeks. I shot my buddies 470 double a couple times to confirm the zero on his red dot, but that’s not really fun. Shooting my 338 offhand though was good fun, especially given the target I use to get ready…

Either a 375H&H or my 404BJE. Here in North America i have not found anything a properly loaded 30-06 won't take cleanly. Whats the fun in only having one cartridge.
