From the taxidermy we headed to Carels house to prepare for the next day of giraffe hunting. We unloaded the truck and hooked up the trailer to his other truck. We would need 2 vehicles to get the giraffe out if successful. We loaded traps and knifes up. We then had a relaxing dinner with Carels wife and daughter around the fire outside. We would be hunting a cattle farm about an hour away. Carel had been seeing giraffes on it regularly. He showed me pictures of some bulls he had seen while checking leopard baits they keep fresh. As I laid in bed I could feel my excitement for the next day. I set my alarm for 6. Little did I know at that time I wouldn't need an alarm.
