Anyone have any experience with the Vers375 Suppressor?

Thanks to the advice of yall on my other thread I’m going to get my 375 chopped down to 20” and threaded for a suppressor. Talking to my local suppressor guy he said the vers 375 would be a good option. Has anyone used or have experience with the vers 375? Website has some good info on recoil and noise reduction but I just want some first hand accounts if possible. Thanks!
 
I have one and it works well but it’s big.

Have you considered the AB Raptor in 375?

That’s my next can.

Hearing safe without protection? How’s the recoil reduction? And is it big just because it’s a 375 caliber or is it big even compared to other 375s? I know next to nothing about suppressors.

I didn’t even know it existed lol, I know nothing about suppressors, the vers is just what my local guy recommended, I believe he gets them at a good price and was going to sell it to me out the door below MSRP so he might be biased. I’m definitely open to other options I just want something that will be 100% hearing safe without muffs or plugs.
 
I have the 458 model, and am happy with it. In the past, I’ve called Bowers directly with questions and they were very helpful. Why not give them a call? They’re a quality operation.

You make a good point lol, to be honest I just don’t even know what to ask lol, and if I ask say, “how’s the noise reduction” I would guess they would give me some data I don’t understand lol. Like I said I’m a complete novice on suppressors.

I’ve got a Primal but it’s heavy.

I bought an AB 30 cal & its first class.

No can is truly hearing safe without muffs or plugs for sustained firing except with subsonic ammo but again, the AB Raptor 375 will be my next can.

Between the 3 of us, my cousins & I have quiet a few cans. I don’t claim to be an expert, but we are certainly familiar with cans.


I suggest you compare the AB Raptor 375 to the Bowers VERS 375. I’ve not handled a VERS but have the AB.
 
Recoil reduction was ok while sound reduction was definitely safe. When I say it’s big I mean long. If your cutting your barrel down to 20 inches it will be less noticeable as my rifle was a 24 inch barrel.

I have this as well and really like it. Makes range sessions much more pleasant. I purchased the S variant for a nice balance of lightweight with good suppression.
 
Some buddies who run bigger bores upgraded to things like the SilencerCo Hybrid 46 for even more suppression on true safari calibers, but for my use (mostly North American or lighter African stuff with the chopped .375), the VERS 375 hits the sweet spot on weight, performance, and price. It’s a legit hunting can, not just a range toy.
 
I have both the VERS 375 as well as the Hybrid 46 that I added an anchor brake onto. When shooting them both on my Winchester M70 .375 H&H, I noticed no noticeable difference in the recoil reduction between the two nor any big difference in sound suppression. They're both front end heavy with the Hybrid 46 being just a hair heavier just due to the length.
