What did you reload today?

44 special today. “Beer can” loads.
A 262 grain bullet from the RCBS 44-250K mold. Starline case, 4.5 grains of TiteGroup, and a Fiocci large pistol primer.
This load gives me 760 fps and good accuracy from the 7.5” colt new frontier.

Varget has been in stock at a lot of vendors the last 4-6 months. Midway, Powder Valley, Natchez, Midsoith, etc. $50-$60 a pound I believe is the new normal sadly.

Loaded Thursday, shot last night...

143 grain Lever Hammers. 3 different loads; one showed promise in my Savage 99E .308.

130 grain Barnes TTSX. 3 different loads; frankly none of them impressed me much in my Ruger 77 .300 WM.

I will be interested to know how those 143 Lever Hammers work out for you. I have bounced around thinking of trying those in a 1-12 twist Winchester M70.

I have also tried the 128 grain Shock Hammer in my .338 Marlin. A couple showed some promise, but with both offerings I have tried I need more bullets, and I am debating whether the results I have had so far are worth the cost.

I'm another .44 Special fan. Good fun, & loaded up or down very versatile.

Yesterday it was windy and cold. It was a good day to load up some .375 H&H with 300gr A-frames, and .260 Rem Ackley fireform loads with 135gr Berger Hybrids. :)

Wet, cold, windy, a few snowflakes wafting down and even a meteor in the neighborhood yesterday—good time to load some practice rounds.

First up was 35 rounds of 300 H&H. Inexpensive Hornady 175 gr FMJ over H4831sc in Nosler brass for 2975FPS. Next was 50 rounds of 257 Roberts. Cheap 90 grain Hornady CX factory seconds in Hornady brass over IMR4350 for 3180 fps.

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
