Can you travel from the US with two rifles of the same caliber to South Africa on my way to Mozambique? I am traveling with a bolt action and a double rifle in 375H&H.
to AHI am doing that again from ATL to JNB Tsala picks me up drive to Moz. In advance you pay your rifle fees through your outfitter for Moz. I use rifle permits for my SA license given you have to pick up your rifle there then drive or charter fly to Moz where there are rifle feesCan you travel from the US with two rifles of the same caliber to South Africa on my way to Mozambique? I’m from aussie & go through Henry @ rifle permits & Here’s what I go by with money very well spent imo doing a pre approvalCan you travel from the US with two rifles of the same caliber to South Africa on my way to Mozambique? I am traveling with a bolt action and a double rifle in 375H&H.
It’s been done in past, but they may have become much more strict. I’m guessing didn’t get past first base means Rifle Permits wouldn’t submit the paperwork? It was explained to me if the permit is issued it nullifies the usual conditions. I didn’t expect there would be a high likelihood of approval but there is a chance.I tried last year with a 375h&h along with a 375rum & didn’t get to first base even with trying to get pre approval ( maybe @375Fox can explain how one can ? )
Hope that helps & one I wish you the best in moz , it’s a great place
Cheers
thanks for the info.SAPS site say 1 firearm per caliber.
