I also was not on Facebook I was securing an alternative plan out of there because of his behavior, and making sure my wife was safe in Budapest as she was by herself in a city she’s never been, (all in which was a mutual decision of ours because I was promised if I came early I would be able to hunt, “The Prime Ministers Grounds”, which never happened and was confirmed by the owner and his daughter) He was equally on his phone the same, watching cameras and complaining that his wife or girlfriend was in his gun room stealing his stuff, wiping him out of his home and he’s have to live in a hotel. After talking to several of his “clients” and “partners” Since leaving I have concluded that everyone had dealt with the same type of things. Lies, grotesque behavior, and absolute rudeness.
Yes my shooting wasn’t the greatest this trip, but to be fair there are many factors, high winds, we were hunting in The Great Hungarian Plains, the wind in the first day where I had most of my issues was brutal, the deer were super skittish, and the rifle was unfamiliar to me with a super heavy trigger. But, any hunter who says that they don’t miss is a liar or hasn’t hunted enough.
What’s funny is the missed shot that Alex posted was filmed by my wife and sent to him, I have nothing to hide at all. There is proof on all sides. I never said the hunting was bad, it was the “guide”
Himself. If you read his post it sounds like a drunken rant of how he’s perfect and has done nothing h wrong. I’m not saying that I’m perfect, and i’m certainly not saying that I could have handled things difficult; it, if you’re “so sick” stay in… he certainly didn’t do anyone any favors.
This will be my last post regarding this. To answer the other questions, how was I rushed, I shot “my package” deer all in one evening. I was fine leaving early, when I asked to be complained and said that he gave up another client to have me there. There was never any promises that I would shoot more that what my package allowed. But he guilted me into staying, (that is 110% my fault), saying that the owners would be super upset if I left early, afterwards in conversations with them, they said that I was allied to leave at anytime and there was no hard feelings at all. But again, my issue was not with the hunting, it was the “guiding” and the rudeness of said guide. He talked crap on e dry client he had there before me saying they can’t shoot either.
