What order did you complete your big 5 in and why?

Mmm… maybe, I don’t think so though.

Fist day there I’m killing 2 zebra, probably 3. I’m the first hunter for leopard into cattle section this year and I’ve got to get as many cats moving as possible quickly. Probably will also clip 2/3 impala rams just for bait also.
In those circumstances, you have excellent chances. (y)

Yes. Normally that would be ideal. In Nuanetsi conservancy Buffalo has to go to the staff and village. It cannot be used for bait. I’m using zebra for my bait.
Lou Hallamore says zebra is the best leopard bait

The Coastal areas of Moz seem to be the exception. From my research they drive the big sand rivers until they cut a track, then put the dogs down. @Green Chile has this hunt booked but not 100% sure if he’s hunting the Sand Rivers or the Hills (closer to Zim).
I'm hunting the Muanza camp with AH sponsor @PANTHER TRACKERS next year. Baits are hung along the sand rivers and the dogs are only released on large male tracks. Here's a description of the location...

If I ever complete it, finances will determine the order.

TAM and Rockwood are probably your only two options for a potential Dart Hunt of a Black. Very limited and highly restricted.
I did receive black rhino dart hunt offer. I must dig in my files to find it.

Several buffalo since 1987 with either a rifle or handgun. I was lucky to hunt with my dad in the 1980's prices were affordable even with inflation on those hunt. So the order was how my dad booked our hunts. Did my own first safari in 1992 the Congo for dwarf forest buffalo.

Sounds like you need to try again for the Leopard with a rifle and also start on the Big 5 with a bow

Lion - 2015, RSA
Leopard- 2021, Zimbabwe
Elephant- 2021, Zimbabwe
Elephant- 2025, Cameroon

I was offered an opportunity to hunt lion at a very good price on my first African safari, so I took it. May do another at some point in a really wild place.

Leopard and first Elephant were taken with Dalton and York during peak covid lockdowns! Would definitely do again, but i think I'll be looking for heavier ivory on my next Elephant.

Took my most recent Elephant during a bongo hunt. What an adventure!

I'll probably take a buffalo at some point, but I don't feel rushed or that the opportunity might pass.

Haven't really been interested in rhino. Maybe that will change some day.

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
