Planning to hunt New Zealand

Morning I would be happy to talk with you personally and put something together along with a list of references. We hunt all Tahr on private wilderness land and base ourselves out of the my hunting lodge each day, or mountain cabins. We do not need to use helicopter unless preferred.
We also hunt wild genuine free range Stag on private ranch land if this is also your preference. We currently are hunting them now with a group of 4 hunters, photo from last night.
 
I went with South Pacific Safaris and I highly recommend them. Thar, chamois and stag. Beautiful lodging and great food and even better people.

I havent been yet but at Houston Safari Club Convention this year I booked a June 2027 hunt with Wanganui Safaris. I researched for about 3 years. Talked to them extensively each time they were in town. I know at least four different people who have been with them and they all highly recommend. Their main lodge is on the N. Island but you can also hunt tahr and chamois with them on the S. Island. We are doing that and I know a lot of people like that aspect as you get to see both islands. I am booked with Wanganui May 27. Just on N. island though for stag and maybe fallow. What are you going after?
 
I heartedly recommend John Scurr Hunts in NZ. He offers humungous red stags and much more. I'm 100% disabled and he worked around that to still provide a premium hunt.

My son and I are going after Red Stag, Fallow and Tahr, one each. Maybe one other add on of something cheaper. Cheers

I hunted free range stag, tahr, chamois and fallow deer w him a couple years ago. He is an incredible hunter and will put together a tremendous package for you based on your preferences. My wife also came along. We hunted 5 or 6 days and spent 3 or 4 days. In Christchurch. She loved it. Fell free to DM of want to discuss.
 
A friend of mine just booked a hunt and I can't seem to find anything on the outfitter. He said his guide is Caleb Baumann and the website is in the attached picture. I can't find anything on these guys other than a website that doesn't work. Anyone heard of these guys or have any reviews? I didn't want to start another thread if it wasn't necessary and I'm just being paranoid.

Inquire John Scurr Hunts in NZ. Him and his wife lived there all their lives and have a premium hunting area. Huge Red Stags and Elk, as well as Tahr and other game.
