I was pleased with the way a couple of skulls turned out on the South African side. I didn't have any other Euros like this but I think it looks good on predators like lioness and croc. The croc skull looks small with nothing beside it to show scale but it came from a 14 footer. I was particularly pleased with the value...the bronzing of lioness and croc were about $600 each. The tanning of 14 foot croc was also only $600. We considered copper coating but the effect was far too shiny. Bronze gave it the antique look.

Just wanted to show some examples of recent work and cost. Shipping is a whole different subject!

I THINK these were both molded and actual bronzes made from the molds. To get that lion back into the US I assume that is the case. Actually, not bad prices if they are truly full bronzes and not coated.

The lion is definitely a mold as it's not exportable. That lioness stayed behind as a full mount in the lodge.

I don't care for bronzed antlered or horned skulls (bleached gives better contrast with horns) but toothed critters appeal to me more. The croc is very interesting but the size must be problematic for decor? Put it in the window at Halloween. Be sure to hand out sanitary wipes for parents to clean the toddlers' poopy bums. :D

I am surprised they only charged $600 to do that skull. I have cast some replacement/broken horns and the materials alone are quite expensive. I presume it's a resin skull spray painted?

I was surprised by the cost being that low...and especially surprised by the croc tanning being $600 also. It would be multiples of that in the States. I'm still waiting on a 7 foot gator to be finished tanning from 4-5 years ago in the States.

I like the antiqued look. Classy! After a while bleached skulls start to yellow. I've also done this Bryan...

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.
