Great photography. Nice filters and lighting. Looks like a great hunt too.

Look at that ruggedly handsome man! Dig the scruff, don’t think I’ve seen you when not cleanly shaven. And gorgeous rifles.

While that 470 is as pretty as I recalled, I forgot just how beautiful your Rigby BGR really is. As much as I love mine, I do wish it had a few of the nice upgrades your rifle carries.

Looks like it proved a truly epic safari and some wonderful work in preserving the memories. You always put up some great photography.

Fantastic! And what a buffalo!!! Wow…

What ammo belt are you using?

Ed Z
The ammo belt and wallet are from Rigby:

Really enjoy the thoughtful pictures. You look like you had a great safari! Congratulations.

Awesome animals and pictures my friend! Looks like a hunt of a lifetime and you made us feel we were there!!!

Great hunt and excellent pics, congrats :D Cheers:

hey hey! you've got an eye!
Great pictures, thanks for sharing. Also, I like the hat. Looks like a Rigby symbol. What type is it?
My favorite had was eaten by the thorns in Limpopo last year and I didn't go back in for it.

Especially love the praying mantis photo and the one of you shot through the cape buff horns.

Thanks for sharing your safari with us.

Thank you! I took ~2,000 pictures/videos and this was just a small sample. Its one of my favorite things to do when traveling.

The Rigby hat is part of the new collection. I picked it up at SCI this year, but you can order it from the Rigby site:

For reference, I'm a 59 hat size and I bought the S/M.

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.
