Our cull hunt packages have been very popular and we have allot of animals to cull for the 2026 season. Mostly Wildebees cows both golden and common, also lots of blesbok and impala females and a few waterbuck and eland cows.
here is the link to our package we had this year.

As I'm writing this we are doing our last cull for this year and we have a buffalo hunter coming on Monday. So busy times but I would like the new cull pack up so-long for the 2026 season.

How many days should the package be? short 5 day action packed or 7 days or so with more time to smell the vaalbushes?

How many animals? Just a few to get the party started and then ad off price-list or big all included package?

Please let us know your thoughts.

May be just me, but I do cull hunts for a less expensive African hunting vacation. I can go more often and shoot more. However you put your packages together, I would offer a less expensive option where you can still make money if hunter doesn’t take any additional animals.

Your 2025 package looked great. Some cull packages have become more expensive than some trophy packages. Not sure how that works.

This is just my opinion though.

Thanks for your sponsorship and the great offers you’ve had.

With the travel time coming from the U.S., at least eight full days of hunting and at least twenty animals in a mix or match selection. From my perspective, unless it's being combined with a tour or add on, a 6/5 less than ten animal hunt isn't a marketable package to U.S. hunters.

I have done several cull hunts with an outfitter I usually hunt with. If I’m traveling from USA it will be a min of 10 days hunting plus arrival and depart. With an avg of 1 animal per day min.
His approach and what I have done is not a package. It is $day rate then a list of what cull animals he has with the prices.
List usually has Impala, Blue wildebeest, zebra, Blesbuck and buff cow on it. I work a budget up and shoot till the money is gone. I budget for 1-2 animals per day then

Overall I think what you offer now is perfect. First timers or young guys with families can't take as much time off from work. My son couldn't go with me if it was a longer hunt. His wife has to take the same vacation for babysitting purposes.
More experienced guys can get with you to tailor it longer if they like.

As you know my family will be hunting with you in June and would definitely add a few culls like blesbok and such. Especially for my grandson.

I think if you offered it as a cull hunt like you have up and make it for 5 days with a 7 and 10 day option that can be negotiated along with price list for both additional cull or trophy prices it would give flexibility for first timer to experienced hunters that just want to have a fun hunt and enjoy being in Africa.

If we can ever get the son's and grandson's of daughter in law's and grand daughters to make a commitment to coming on a safari this would be a nice kinda package to consider.

And since no one has put together a smart A$$ response I figured would add the humor cull (IE never to happen).
You asked "

what would you like to see on our cull hunt package for 2026?"

I would like to see a cull hunt for say $1000 an animal for a couple 45 inch-ish sable and at least 3 29 inch-ish roans. And maybe 1 top 10 tsessebe for fun:Jimlad:

I like cull hunts in between my DG hunts. for me 7 full days hunting and 2 travel days work. 8-10 animals is perfect

I would like to see 8 hunt days plus 2 travel days, for animals I would like a cow buffalo, a warthog, blue wildebeest cow a couple impala, a non trophy waterbuck, blesbok female and a eland cow for me that would be good

Thank you for the responses, Im here at the Afton Safari lodge were I spend the night wifi was down last night so I could not reply sooner,

Looks like I will have to make 2 options or a starter options with add on days and game.

Our last cull hunter for this year is well on his way home with plans to return for a buffalo and more culling,

AZDAVE pretty much nailed it. Offer a package on either side of the spectrum in order to accommodate both the hunter who can't get off work for more than a week (including travel time) as well as for those who want to experience a lengthier stay to offset the time spent traveling to and from Africa. Flexible packages will appeal to a wider potential client base.

Thank you all, Buffalo Hunter and I made it to camp, will work on the new package ASAP.

I bought a great deal of the brass he had for sale, plus I already had many hundred rounds.

How much brass are you looking for?
