It is always good entertainment to tap into the Russian propaganda network to see how they are fairing through their latest wallow in self-schadenfreude following a Ukrainian battlefield success. There are at least three interesting takeaways.

Where is Donald Trump?!? He isn't a real player if he doesn't have control of Ukraine's military and security services.

Secondly, they have decided to portray this as a "terrorist incident" rather than military retaliation against the platforms that are launching cruise missiles at Ukraine nightly. The fact that they are not receiving calls of condolence, particularly from Trump, is simply inexplicable (and no doubt very hurtful).

Finally, these miserable Ukrainians could not have possible done this themselves. They had to have been directed by some element in the US.

This may well be the most readily self-delusional culture to exist on the planet.

Wow.. and I thought our media outlets were ridiculous twits overtly pushing agendas rather than reporting news... these guys make Joe Scarborough look like a competent journalist...

Im starting to wonder if Baghdad Bob didn't earn his commentator stripes at some Moscow news agency..

That clip would be comical, if it weren't so sad... if the Russian people buy into that very clear BS they are being fed.. I almost feel sorry for them..

From the odd interview I have seen that managed to ask people their opinions...it seemed majority are buying in to it...especially the mid to later aged people....you could tell who didn't as wouldn't say anything just pulled a face..

This is new video from the attack against the Russian airbases. It shows quite a few attacks against the TU 22m3 fleet which has such an important role in Russia's nuclear strike force.

The tires are an interesting defensive concept. The idea is that along with potentially absorbing a an actual hit, they will also disrupt AI imaging of a target. They do not seem to have been entirely effective.

The aircraft that look like an AWACS are A-50 aircraft used as we do the AWACS for early warning and ariel battle management. At the start of the war, Russia six-eight operational and the UA has shot down two. Any damage to the remainder is another meaningful blow to their strategic capability as well as operational requirements for Ukraine.

Who do you suppose I fight @steve white ? We are being displaced by another culture…
Exactly, and it has already happened here in CA. One party State due to an influx of immigrants. Medi-Cal is insolvent due to covering illegal immigrants and had to borrow over $3B for the quarter. CA has a $14.1B budget deficit, the cost of illegal immigrant health care is $13.8B, easy math. The solution floated by Democrats to fix it is to increase taxes. Go figure.

Who do you suppose I fight @steve white ? We are being displaced by another culture. Perhaps I should break into peoples’ homes and stop them from procreating? Or perhaps I should stand watch at the border, and do a citizen check point?

Or do you mean literally, and I should don a black mask and seek out the hooligans after a football match to take them down if they step out of line?
The word "fight" is going to have to include resistance, political change by outcry, and maybe even getting in the streets to protest (even farmers have done that with their tractors) and anything and everything to take back your country and culture. Work the courts, insist on parity in media coverage, expose those who would undermine your culture. Sue Soros for all I care. We are all going to have to learn to push back Islamic imperialism even in its infant stages, or pay a terrible price. At least you are on the right path by thinking of your children. Playing nice, being passive--not in your best interest. Insist that woke ideology and woke control of media are rooted out, especially if publicly funded by taxpayers. We are all going to have to learn from each other how to win a fight that is being played dirty by the opposition.
Take Switzerland--they are very concerned that their welfare system is being intentionally bankrupted by immigrants. Cutting off the dole, the freebees is a key, so is cessation of asylum. Fortunately many areas of Europe are getting rightfully fed up, so change is more possible. Geert Wilders was 30 yrs ahead of his time, but no one listened.
Insist that law enforcement curtail the rioting demonstrations going on these days! And whatever you do, do NOT allow any sharia law jurisdictions--they have even tried to have a sharia town in Texas recently!! Never thought I would see the day...
If your own government is complicit in radicalizing your nation, threaten tax boycott. And yes, at the end of the day, if it becomes necessary as a last resort, physically fight rather than take off--that is, if you think your nation is important.
As far as stopping them from procreating--if necessary vote to THROW THEM OUT OF YOUR COUNTRY and let them procreate somewhere else. Declare a repatriation of former asylum seekers. Make them prove they are any longer in danger. We may have to do something, if the Dearborn Michigans/squad bunch get totally out of hand. I have zero tolerance for terrorists in my midst. And no country should sacrifice their entire culture so that people from some third world country can come and take over. No. AND, you shouldn't have to wear a mask while you do the above.

Describing the problem is describing the solution. Cancel Medi-Cal to immigrants or threaten at least tax boycotts or other political reprisals. I hope Trump refuses to bail them out with fed dollars. Cancel the freebees. Does that sound radical? What are you going to do when all you have as taxpayers, even your total GDP isn't enough to fund the freebees? When the immigrants are the majority, will they be able to vote you out of your money whether you like it or not? You are rich, in their eyes. Maybe your fair share is practically all you've got at some point. How close to bankruptcy do we have to get to learn the lesson and quit digging the hole deeper? Do we actually have to permanently break the system, or can we reform the system.

The problem with this anti-immigrant action plans is that quite a portion of the electorate have no problems with them, and actually encourages them to come over.

Newsome's solution is to charge them $100/month for coverage if they are over 18. He is getting a lot of pushback from the Democrats in the legislature. CA is a lost cause; I see no viable way for it to go back to moderation.

Socialism is as socialism does. In corruptifornicate it's more like marxism.

I guess the Russian propagandists understand Trump better than we do - or at least should - by this point. Sweet of him to commiserate with the little KGB thug about the damage to his strategic forces. And Russia's "docked planes" !!? :E Hmmm: Perhaps one of you with such uncanny insight into his mind and what he really means when he says nonsense can help me understand what he thought he was saying. Perhaps it was grossly unfair of those evil Ukrainians to destroy them on the ground?

It will be curious to see what the Russian response will be. I suspect they are frantically trying to prepare as many ballistic and cruise missiles as they can for a strike. One way of escalation would be to attack the governmental buildings in Kyiv. Another would be medium range ballistic missiles against the logistics hubs just inside Ukraine at the Polish border. Though, it is my belief they are heavily defensed with Patriot systems. Considering what they have thrown at Ukraine for four years, short of nuclear war and national suicide, their options are fairly limited

I wish I had confidence that our President both understands and is acting in our national interests rather than Putin's.

Yeah, I do not remember him talking to Zelensky about the drone and missile attacks by Russia. Also, it seems he is giving a green light to Putin for whatever response Putin comes up with.

I still think Russians have something on him.

So a nice chat..yet again no mention of the sanctions he threatened more than once....as Joe said sounds like he isn't too bothered....and buddying up chat about Iran ...unbelievable....mmm.no totally believable

Sadly yes. The Ukrainians are shouldering enough without having to deal with friends like us.

I still think Russians have something on him.

I do not know which is worse. He is so truly so uncomprehending of our national interests, or that he may be that beholding.

From that article:
The comment was one of a string of public critical remarks by Trump, who earlier had said that Putin had gone "absolutely crazy" and is "playing with fire" when Russia intensified drone and missile attacks on targets in Ukraine.

Trump made no mention of a deadline or his previous remarks in Wednesday's post on his Truth Social platform.

I think in regard to consequences for Russia the term TACO applies here as well. Just lip service and that's all.

Trump should declare time is up for Russia and we will be back in 6 months to ask again if Putin is ready to be serious. Those 6 months should be a full on assault from Ukraine. Backed with whatever they need. Let Ukraine break Russia completely. Pipelines, oil refineries, electric generation, bridges, ports.

After 6 months ask again if he is ready to talk

Trump and Vance have already done this...

To Ukraine.

Serious question - no animus or negativity. I seriously want to know. @Brent in Az ... how does Trump commiserating with Putin help America's international interests? Why does he keep moving the goal line with tariffs and heavier sanctions with Russia? Setting aside your disdain for Ukraine and Zelensky, how do explain his repeated efforts to buddy up to Putin?

Trump is playing 3-dimensional chess while Putin is playing checkers. Putin won't know what hit him.
