As new Merkel K3 break open rifle in the potent 7x65R chambering. Offering price includes factory QD scope mount, 80 rds. of factory ammunition, one box of fired brass, and reloading dies. Rifle has been fired only 20 rds., hence the box of once-fired brass. Due to shipping regulations, the ammunition will be shipped separately. I will pay shipping for both within the continental US. $2750.

I have a K1 in 7mm RemMag - they are tackdrivers in a lightweight super portable design. I can honestly say I’ve never had a rifle that has ever carried as easy as my K1.

Thanks for the comments. The rifles are both rather late for such loadings. But then, one carries a lot more than one shoots.

Typically these came with 500-550-600 or 650mm barrel lengths. Just guessing this is 600?

Gorgeous rifle. One day I hope to have one just like it. What is the barrel length and twist rate on this rifle? How did it shoot for you?

24" depending on from where one measures.

Don't know the twist rate. As noted above, I found the rifle a bit light (not late!) for the caliber.

The K1-K3 Merkels are easy to carry and very accurate. If anyone is looking for a really good stalking rifle, here it is.

Safe shooting

600mm would be 23.6 inches, so most likely it's a 600. Perfect length for that caliber. (y)

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
