Africa's smell

You will never forget the smell of the crest of an springbuck in South Africa...it is amazing how it brings you the power of all its flora in just one bit...all the random's pollen of the healthy and beautiful south african savanna trapped on it!

Couldn't forget my youngest daughter, took her turkey hunting and she was my good luck charm. She was standing beside me when I shot the turkey at 22 yards with my bow.

Here is my first hunt for 2013. I shot this Black Wildebeest with a Musgrave .270 @ 200m.

This Black Wildebeest measured at 25" and is thus a Rowland Ward.

found these when i was looking through older photos. ugalla tanzania sept 2001. the croc was my clients who i booked the hunt for, and the other was mine after a short chase when we busted a load of them where they shouldnt have been. couple of .375`s over the head and i found him hiding in a hollow tree . i think we got 4 or 5 of them , i would have preferred to be mine as the trackers and game scout loved using the clubs they found during the chase on their ones....:letsparty::heh:

After one of those days when everything goes your way, we pay tribute to the fallen game.

After one of those days when everything goes your way, we pay tribute to the fallen game. This Hungarian bore hunt was one for the history books and our group of hunters now share a memory that will never be forgotten.
