I have done some business on AH, all transactions have been pleasant. Be it pay it forward or an item for purchase. In recent past some sellers and or buyers have had conflict. I did do business with one of the gentleman in question and had no issue. It was the most expensive rifle I have ever purchased. I would like to offer my dealing with Mr Krish. He has been a gentleman, and the product showed up as described packaged well. No price gouging just the cost passed on that he paid for 500 Jeffrey brass. He had 4 total boxes to sell. I told him I would take two of them, and in a few weeks if he could hold the other two I would take them also. When I contacted him for the second purchase I asked if they were still available and he said yes, he held them for me. I couldn't be happier. I thought maybe we could start a thread on straight shooters so to speak. A reference thread to do alittle more research besides the normal how long has a member been active ect. Either way, thank you Krish, it has been a pleasure. John

I like this idea as it is another layer of vetting however unscrupulous people have gotten clever one the internet so please still read the following:

@krish is a straight shooter for sure. Now I need to go through all my records because I’ve bought a TON of stuff on AH and have NEVER had an issue. It will take me a while to create a good guy list as it will be very long, but will post it on here.

Yep....

I’ve been very fortunate to buy, sell, and trade quite a bit here... and have never had a bad transaction...

I’ll try to dig through the memory banks tomorrow and will post up a list as well...

Okay, here’s all the people I’ve had great experiences with on AH whether they were giving a spare part, buying something for me, or me from them. Most transactions were done with no safety nets or fraud protection. Zero issues. @AfricaHunting.com you have to delete this post if my spouse ever joins this forum....I’d be in hot water for my expenditures!!!

@AfricaHunting.com

As others all dealings have been problem free. I know it is more leg work for you. A different forum I am part of has a system that you can rate your transactions.
Options

Positive
Neutral
Negative

Buyer
Seller
Trade

Must link the actual thread this arrangement took place. (See if it was a $5.00 gadget or a $5,000.00 piece of gear)

Then a spot for a short message example, fast shipping good communication.

Then they have a spot for a more lengthy version if one requires.

These numbers/stats follow you. They are a badge of honor or shame if one does not handle things correctly.

It is pretty automated, I do not run a website so I can't say how much actually goes into it.

I would guess with the amount of traffic it might be a viable option. I would hate to guess what I have bought, sold, and traded on forums.

I have been fortunate in all my years and all my transactions to only have one bad deal. I personally take the blame for that one.

Again just a suggestion, this is your site run it how you see fit.

All my dealing here have been great, my wife now says what are you on, oh it the one with the yellow banner at the top. Yes dear reading about Africa....we don't talk about the classified section.

I like this thread's purpose.
My list is fairly short, as my time here is also, but thanks to the following gents, all my transactions have been good, straight up, and honest.

I've great experiences buying and selling on AH. I'd say 95% of them have been really great to do business with and only a couple that I wouldn't. Nothing as bad as what @PARA45 went through. In an effort to continue to vett other members, I thought I'd make a list (in no particular order) of those I've done business with in the past or know well to personally vouch for them. I know I've missed a few members and for that I apologize. With the amount of stuff I've bought and sold on AH I've lost track.

@Rickmt, @Red Leg, @Justbryan, @Philip Glass, @jdemocko, @Ed Lally, @One Day..., @TOBY458, @375Fox, @Tra3, @SafariA, @PARA45, @Scott CWO, @Glenn Slaven, @Ridge Runner, @USMA84DAB, @BigSteve57, @Shootist43, @Art Lambart II, @CAustin, @AZDAVE, @BnC 04, @gizmo, @Bullthrower338, @Newboomer, @1dirthawker, @matt85, @Ridgewalker, @tarbe, @Fastrig, @Wyatt Smith, @Proneshooter, @Forrest Halley, @cagkt3, @Brandon.Gleason, @Hogpatrol and @leslie hetrick .

Lots of others I could mention if I wanted to do business in Canada, UK, OZ, NZ and Europe. We have a good bunch of guys and gals on this site for the most part.

One thing I've started doing is leaving a "profile post" for those that I've done business with. Just writing something simple like "was a pleasure to do business with" or something like that. Although I must admit that this is a new thing for me and I should go back and put a profile post on older purchases.

Cheers.

I’ve had good buying experiences from Toby458, BeeMaa, One Day, 1dirthawker
I’ve had good selling experiences to PARA45 and Toby458 and am in process of 2 others now, hopefully good as well
I’ve had good experiences on the pay it forward thread with ArmyAV8tor, TNDave, and RidgeWalker

I like referencing the Pay it Forward thread. You can clearly see those that followed the rules of the thread and put another free item up in its place compared to those who just took a free item and never gave back.

I like this idea

I have completed dozens of transactions here.. but unfortunately, I can't remember who most of them were with, or even what I bought or sold in most cases (getting old sucks lol)..

What I can recall off the top of my head includes:

@Mark Biggerstaff multiple transactions.. always great
@AZDAVE multiple transactions.. always great
@Shawn.54 huge help on a mauser build a few years back.. a few transactions.. always great
@HuntingGold bought a substantial amount of reloading supplies.. great transaction
@TOBY458 bought a set of leupold rings.. great transaction
@tarbe bought a bunch of reloading stuff.. great transaction

There are many more.. Im sorry about any of you guys I might have forgotten.. If you see this and youre not on the list, shoot me a PM and remind me and Ill edit the post or add with a new post.

This is great idea.
Unfoturnately, most probably I will not be able to do business on this forum with guns and ammo, for being in faraway european country.
But for you guys, and members in the states, it is good idea to share information here and references.

I think it’s a great idea to have a reference page. I along with Para45 was scammed by Chickenfarmers. I have had great transactions with Fgold67, Scoober78 and Warpig602

I think this community is very fair with one another. It is one of the reasons I like being on here.
