For my money, I think I would rather have the Griffin How (by A&S). Both cool guns!

that looks like a insane deal the engraving is top quality and the wood is amazing...that gun custom made new was probably $50,000+

I don't think anyone bought it so you might be able to contact the seller and work something out
I did try, but without any active listings, GB prohibits any messages. I did save him as a favorite and will keep any eye out. Many Thanks!

I have. I use a Verney Carron , Imperial model. I use handloads. 900gr solids @ 2060f/s. Its pretty effective, but you still need to hit the vitals. Shot 2 elephants with it so far.View attachment 381290View attachment 381292
How often do you practice shooting with the 600? And how many rounds would you put down range in a session? I imagine most of your practice shooting would be done off hand?

Yesterday I loaded four boxes for my .600 Wilkes, made in 1914. I shoot 4-10 rounds 1-2x per week and alternate with my 4-bore Rodda.

Never fired a big 6..but fired an 8bore in SA. That was a step up compared to my 10bore. Maybe the .600 can be compared to a heavy 8bore recoilwise?..

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
