For Sale Sako 85 Grey Wolf 9.3x62mm

I have decided, on the off chance I go elk or brown bear hunting again, I am going to keep this rifle. It's an exceptionally nice rifle, and seeing how all the nicer rifles are starting to diminish on the market, in favor of cheap POS rifles, I'd better hold on to this one. Who knows, might shoot an Eland with it some day.
Good move. If I remember correctly you sold a Zastava 9.3x62 with the justification that you still had your Sako. If you sold the Sako you would have to scramble to fill the 9.3x62 void - a terrible thought. That is unless you already have the replacement.

No use now! The older they get, the more they eat!
And I am still enjoying that 4X bushnell sportview I negotiated in the trade!

That's true. No other 9.3 in the fold.

How about I sell you a shiny, almost new Swift 2-7×40 scope. You know......for when you want to be seen with something really nice. I won't even charge you a kid for it. Just a couple table dances my next trip to Dallas.

Good call, I was starting to develop a twitch! Every time I say I’m done buying something else comes along....

For me something else always show up right when I run out of money.

Due to a very large crate that will be inbound soon, I have decided to put this one back on the market. Nothing has changed since the original add was placed.

Aaaaarrrghh!!!! I as well have a crate coming and just closed deal on a 257 WBY....someone buy this please!!!!

Might can make a package deal on this ammo, brass, bullets and dies as well.

17 rounds Nosler Factory Ammo 286gr.
28 rounds Norma Factory Ammo 286gr.
100 PPU Brass cases (96 new, 4 once fired)
3 Nosler once fired brass
5 Norma once fired brass
50 Swift A Frame bullets 286gr.
Hornady Reloading Dies

This stuff would cost approximately $262.00 plus shipping, if bought new. (This is taking in account the actual round count listed above)

What is the LOP? and do you have rings for it?

I'll measure the LOP when I get home. I have some Optolock rings on it now, but was planning to keep those for my other Sako rifles. They run around $160 for the stainless rings and bases. But, since this rifle has no iron sights, you could just use some clamp on rings from Leupold that cost much less. I use optilock rings on my 375 Sako because they can be removed easily for accessing the iron sights.

Well last week I was really looking at a possibility of buying this but I stopped into a shop in tucson and they had a Ruger African on their consignment rack, had only 5 rounds down the tube and a price of under 600. So having 3 brain cells I kept a poker face and asked if there was any leeway on price:D No fudge room so I picked up the Ruger and it followed me home. If you are looking to sell the brass and ammo still please send me a PM with a price for the lot. Some one needs to buy this sako so Toby isn't forced to list another rifle or two:eek:
