NAMIBIA: Johnnyblues V.S. Mr. Spots Round Two

Whopper kudu bull, a real beauty!! Well done all around.

What an absolutely GRAND hunt! Oh am I totally envious! Thanks so much for sharing it with us!

Gentlemen, and any ladies. Let me thank you all for following and contributing to my thread. Most of you know of my personal situation with my wife and a lot of you followed my first leopard hunt thread back in 2015, And know
just how much this cat hunt meant to me. It’s been a fantastic hunt to say the least. Going in after a wounded leopard was absolutely terrifying. But one I will ever ever forget. I was also very fortunate to take some other outstanding trophies. AH members are the best. To support someone they only know from a screen and show concern for that Hunter is the bond non hunters could never understand. I thank you all. I’ve attached a picture of myself and my PH SP having a drink and celebrating a fantastic hunt.

Thank you for taking us along Johnny! Congratulations on a fantastic Safari.

Great stuff, and congratulations again!

All I can say is well done Johnny and thanks again for taking us along on the ride, it has been an amazing trip!

Outstanding trip, and thank you so much for taking us along. WOW, I'm sure you have to pinch yourself every morning to realize that it's not a dream. Congrats again brother, well done!!!

Yes Oscar, I’m really not sure if it all has quite sunk in.

Ya I think my wife is still unconscious as I asked her to wire transfer my trophy fees!

That can be more dangerous than tracking a wounded leopard, at night, in the bush! Living dangerously.

So true :ROFLMAO:....Some how I’m going to have to hide the taxidermy bill!

Well done Johnny, I enjoyed following along on your journey. I am not sure how you plan on adjusting to the day to day back home.

Me either!

You better go and buy a lottery ticket LOL What a hunt !!! You lucked out actually on the zebra, mares almost always have the nicest hides!

Getting that zebra and kudu was just the icing on the cake. You really did have a fantastic safari. Not much could of been better for for you. Congrats
Bruce

Had a double header on free range springbok today.. We spotted the short heavy one early this morning my PH said he’s very heavy and a nice trophy. 150 yards out and hit him, ran about 60 yards and dropped.. several hours later we were sitting under a tree just enjoying some coffee and a snack when I saw movement about 200 yards away. My PH put the glasses on him and said shoot him he’s a good trophy, well having just shot one I was reluctant. He said I’ll give you a good price shoot! I did....lol

Congrats on taking that second springbok Johnny. Especially as you spotted it yourself! I hope that makes it all the sweeter;)

Besides, springbok are kind of like potato chips, you can't have only one:)

Ok, fully caught up. Congratulations again! But man you had the day fee covered as well as travel.... Had you gone out for klipspringer one more day and succeeded, you would likely never get a cheaper one..... But alas, everyone has to know their own limits;)

Very happy for you, just getting that leopard by itself makes it a truly great Safari. All the rest is really bonus.
