Ruger Alaskan 416 Ruger

I picked up a Ruger Alaskan 416 Ruger with a Tijicon 1-4×24 Scope today. Got a heck of a deal on it. Keeping gun and selling scope. Scope is like new. Rifle is in great condition. Already tried some 416 Ruger rounds through it and she feeds like butter! Going to mount a Leupold VX3 1-5×20.

I have that vx3 on my Ruger .375
If I had to do it again, I would get the 30mm version that has the firedot.

Nice! Its a hammer in a small package! Also that hogue stock soaks up recoil unlike their wooden stocks so it should be a breeze to shoot from standing.

Look what came in today! 100 416 Ruger brass and Hornady dies. Loaded 20 rounds and test fired the rifle. Iron sights are on and now I'm ready to mount a scope.
