The best part of fine rifles such as this one is the mystery around "If it could only talk". Any stories and/or history around it's travels while in your family would be welcome. I know anyone that purchases this piece would probably enjoy beginning their "tales" with any history you could supply!

Your views are true. I do not at to bore people with a lot of stories. The one that fascinated me the most was the one where a hunt with the prof hunter John Oosthuizen ended where a wounded buffalo bull charged and was shot falling at their feet It was apparently so close that the blood from its nose sprayed on them
