2015 Warthog Cull Hunting Packages $2500 (5 available)

Could I ask, What makes a cull warthog? Are they older animals that will never grow large tusks? If so how do you age a hog? Not trying to be smart, just would like to know.

I was wondering this to ,broken tusks maybe?
welcome to AH , tony.
enjoy the site ,mate.

Hi guys
This is a management hunt.
Your Professional Hunter will tell you which are cull warthogs. This is determined by the size of there tusks.
A good example is the photo at the top of this thread, those are all cull warthogs. It is both males and females.
Broken tusks and non trophy warthogs are classified as cull warthogs.

Your Professional hunter will identify Trophy warthogs during the hunt and if you would like to hunt these they can be added at $350.

I will upload some Trophy warthog photos which are NOT culls:)

Thanks for the welcome Bluey.

So the PH determines that they will never grow to trophy size?

Hi Tony
The PH will tell you which is a trophy and which is not before the shot is taken.
All Warthog females are regarded as culls-all ages
Warthog males are culls if they have teeth under Trophy size- all ages. Broken tusks or 1 tusk warthogs are culls

Wikus - If Ted Nugent sees your photo with 59 warthogs, he may buy up all the remaining packages and drop by for a "whack and stack" hunt.

from that picure it looks like you need something belt-fed to solve yer piggy problem.

$2500 is a killer price and if it didnt cost me $2000 just to get there then i would be all over this.

I have a buddy at the office that loves killing pigs and this deal would be very attractive to him. I will let him know.
For me.... do you have other cull species available? I like this offer and would have fun, but would like to turn the .270 loose on something else!

I am down with the guys in June however I just want to be in hog heaven

you going to use the .318 double i presume?
Hell yes have bullets flying from pergerine in RSA and kynoch are also on the job ..... so will be equipped. .....

Am over in April for Giraffe so will leave behind whatever ammo is left for the warthogs .......

Think I may take care off more than 10 on the trip ......... culling heaven.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
