Want To Buy Leupold VX 6HD 1-6 x 24 Firedot

Educate me please. The VX6HD 1-6X24 does not have Parallax Adjustment. It's set for 150 yds, iirc. What happens when your shot is much closer or more distant? TIA

To me Parallax adjustment only comes into play on higher magnification scopes and longer ranges.
I run VX6 1-6 Patrol on 458 Lott. Never needed parallax adjustment from 15 yards on Buff to 175 on a zebra.
If needed you can always quickly adjust the focus ring on the Patrol scope to more exactly see your aim point. Not the same as adjusting parallax but still helpful on a smaller sized target. I do this myself but never felt deficjent with no parallax adjustment on my scope. My longest shots are about 200 yds. My rifle is a 375 Ruger.

I’m a big fan of the VX6 Patrol!! A lot of scope for the money!

the Patrol 6 is absolutely the best bang for your buck DG scope for under $1000 - just a perfect little scope.

"Extra $25 off with AH discount code."

And that discount code is...?

I like the parallax adjustment on scopes for longer range shooting. But I have found they can be a bit detrimental if an animal is very close.

It seems to me that scopes with parallax set seem very clear between 5-200 yards.

However, scopes with adjustable parallax, if you have the parallax set to about 100 yards, objects that are say 50 yards or less can be quite blurry unless you adjust the parallax down.

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
