For sale is a beautiful 10X42 Zeiss Victory SF binocular in like new condition. This binocular is the latest black version and is only three months old. I am the original owner and have used it only in my yard. I am only selling because my 10X42 NL just arrived, and as much as I want to keep both I can't.

The optics in this binocular are simply superb with a wide field of view that is sharp to the edge. The focuser is one of the nicest I have used, and all other mechanical functions such as twist up eyecups, hinge, and diopter adjustment are smooth and solid. Due to the way that Zeiss moved the balance point back toward the eyepieces, this unit is very comfortable to hold, and it feels lighter than its stated weight of 27.5 ounces.

Included with the binocular itself are all original accessories, including the case, strap, eyepiece rainguard, objective covers and cleaning cloth. The lifetime Zeiss warranty is transferable to the new owner.

Price is reduced to $1300 firm, net to me. I will cover shipping in the CONUSA, but you will need to cover any transaction fees, if any. PayPal preferred.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks @James Friedrichs I agree, these are phenomenal optics. I’m only pricing it this low because I haven’t used it once since buying it in 2020 and would rather someone enjoy it than let it sit. Fully aware of its value; just trying to make a quick, no-fuss sale.

Wow...I had a set of these and they were excellent. Top notch up there with Swaro. Killer offer.

@Green Chile Appreciate that—these really are world-class optics. I just haven’t touched them since buying, so I’d rather they go to someone who’ll actually use them.
Still available for $1100 shipped. Doubt you’ll find a better deal on Victory SFs in this condition.

I see that the member has been around for a while, but there are some red flags:

1. drop an already very low price by $200 after one day
2. who in the US writes their dates in that format?
3. in your initial post you said "This binocular is the latest black version and is only three months old." and then a couple posts later you said "I haven’t used it once since buying it in 2020"

If you are legit, then I apologize for derailing your ad.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment—totally fair to raise questions, and I appreciate the chance to clarify:

-I dropped the price quickly because I’m motivated to sell. I’d rather someone enjoy these than have them sitting unused. The price is more about moving them fast than anything else.

-The date format is just a habit from past work and travel. Didn’t mean to confuse anyone.

-I bought this pair new in 2020—it's the latest black version, and still unused since purchase. I didn’t mean to imply it was just bought three months ago—poor wording on my part.

I’ve been a member here since 2014 (check my profile), and I value the community. I’m always happy to answer questions or provide whatever someone needs to feel comfortable.

No hard feelings at all—I understand the need for caution and transparency.

Where are the Binocular’s located?

I thought about these Bino’s for a second pair. So, if I did buy them.

I would need a solid reference or Video call with you in the video with the Bino’s. A way to ID you, Driver License (redacted) so I can see your name and face. Email and PayPal account that match up to your true name.

This has what it has come to with all these scams lately… I also have some gear and rifles I need to sell. So, I’m prepared to do the same. My email has my first and last name. My PayPal matches that. It’s easy for me to do a video call to reconcile these requirements for a sale. Then, if I’m not careful, some shitheel will try to steal my identity! Almost not worth it either way…

Totally understand where you're coming from—there's been no shortage of scams lately, and it's smart to be cautious.

I'm 100% legit. Been a member here since 2014 with plenty of history, and I’m happy to do a quick video call with the binos in hand. I can also provide ID (with sensitive info redacted) to confirm I'm who I say I am. I can do PayPal Goods and services (nw), I’m flexible and open to whatever makes the transaction safe for both of us.

Appreciate your interest—let me know what works for you.

Check the seller out to your satisfaction, please. That is your right to do so.
Good luck with the purchase and the sale.

Thanks! I appreciate the support. I’m happy to provide any info or verification needed to make sure everyone feels comfortable. Looking forward to a smooth transaction.

Waterfowl: Duck and goose.
Stabilizing on my boat.
