Due to some questionable ignorance on my part I have ended up with 2-.416 Ruger rifles. I will keep my custom Mark X and offer up this unfired Guide Gun that has only been arm chair cycled enough to smooth the action. The rifle has Alaska Arms extended floor plate, AA’s 1 inch QD rings, and a Leupold Vari-X 3iii 1.5-5 x 20 scope mounted. The rifle will be shipped in the original box with factory accessories as purchased including the original floor plate and rings. $1600 + $40 shipping to lower 48 my FFL to yours.

Forgot to mention that I removed the action and added a little TruOil to a couple of bare spots on the wood that the factory scrimped on. I also sealed the wood under the extenders/butt pad.

There’s a mag extension for these rifles?
Yes, made by Alaska Arms. They are finely made, and the owner of Alaska Arms is a great guy - he helped my dumb ass get it installed on a Sunday morning. Definitely worth looking into

this is news to me.

This is an excellent deal on a nice rig. If I had a goos supply of brass set in id buy it for sure. Easy $800 of stuff with thr gun. I have an extended magazine plate on my sons 375 ruger and it works great. Morris at Alaska Arms is a great guy to do business with

I wonder if this will work with the RUGER RSM (416 Rigby Cartridge) that was in production around 20 years ago?

I wonder if they can make the extra capacity floor plate for M98.

@ftrovato unfortunately it won’t fit the rms action. The rms is a magnum length and the guide gun is a long action. I have an Alaska version with the house overmoulded stock. I like the guide gun option better. Nice rifle

Would also trade + $$ for a Ruger #1 .450-.400.

Very nice. Is the muzzle brake removable?

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
Finally back to somewhat normal I missed reading the messages and posts

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
