Politics

The Clooney family has always been the furthest thing from poor that you could imagine…… always jet setters…… not just a simple boy from Kentucky.

His best hope is that Biden remains on the ticket and all those disillusioned democrat voters stay home - particularly in swing states.
I think that ship has sailed. I could see Trump ads quoting Democrats saying Biden is not capable of serving four more years.
Theory crafting, I'd say Harris/Andy Beshear would be a formidable ticket. Harris is already polling a tad higher than Trump and Beshear would appeal to more moderate independents. There are a lot of people that will still vote against Trump, but concerned about Biden. They will go out (or mail) and vote instead of staying home.

I definitely dont trust the polls any longer..

my problem is I also dont trust the political parties to deliver honest data either.. nor the media..

and I dont trust the typical American voter much anymore either..

So Im in wait and see mode.. nothing at this point would really surprise me in November..

Yeah. ....blah.....blah....blah. We are all aware of your disdain for Trump, and that you swim in the establishment end of the pool.
No need to keep advertising it.
You are being delusional if you think Trump has anything in common with the "working man". Not to mention Trump has been part of the establishment (not that there is anything wrong with that) and part of the elite scene for decades.

Agreed. If Biden drops out, I would bet that the ticket is Harris/Beshear, which is also the ticket I would create if I wanted to give the best shot of beating Trump without a Democratic Party meltdown.

That was a long time ago when Trump was a democrat. Ancient history, as he walked away away from the dark side, and no longer associates with those people.

Just heard on a news feed that in the UK they are drafting legislation to regulate crossbows. Evidently some shot a couple of people with one. Are they going to regulate knives next time someone gets stabbed?

I trust them a lot more now than I did in 2016. Most of them were embarrassed and have spent a great deal on improving the product since then. We would be as foolish as the Biden supporters not to pay attention to them now.

my fear is that even though ole Trumpy seemed to cobble some pretty solid policy into place in his day, he'll dull his knives this time in order to be more "presidential" which will be a 2 edged sword.

on the one hand, image and statesmanship and such will improve which is very important to the blue jacket country club repubs
on the other, he may pick a bunch of stupid rino's in his cabinet because of optics and reduce his chances of success.

please please PLEASE don't let it be Rubio for VP. I'd rather have a random local plumber

IMO Harris probably wouldn’t do well no matter who she would pick as VP, she rated about 2% (I think) in the primary amongst a socialist a failed mayor and a fake Native American. and every job she has been assigned as VP she has been a huge disappointment to say the least.

Except now she will have the full support of the democrat party, and her VP could help a lot. Latest poll this morning shows her now a couple of pts up on Trump - well within the margin of error, but she is polling better than Biden.

The question for Democrats is whether she would do better than Biden, and the answer seems to be an unequivocal yes.

The reality is that most Americans are not following politics all that closely, so any stumbles Harris has had in the past are unlikely to figure very strongly into her level of support if she were to be the nominee.

From what the polls have shown, she is polling above Biden and is slightly beating or at least tied with Trump. This is all BEFORE she has actually started to campaign. From what I have seen, Biden’s and Trump’s poll numbers are not going to budge much between now and November, but Harris would have the opportunity to grow her numbers, which means being in a tight race with Trump NOW is a very good place for her to start.

The latest polling illustrates just how weak the republican candidate actually is. An ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos poll released today shows 67% think Biden should withdraw and fully 85% believe he is too old for a second term. Yet, the head to head between the two candidates remains essentially tied, with Trump having a one point lead. In other words, however bad the democrat choice, the opposition to Trump remains solid. The same poll now shows Harris with a slight lead over Trump. It isn't being polled, but I suspect Halley would be up by 20+ points over Biden at this point. But, we have Trump. This will go to the wire. I think his best hope is that Biden somehow survives (unlikely) and a lot of demoralized democrats simply do not vote.

I honestly don't know what to make of the polling. Nobody seems to be using polls to ascertain what is true, but rather to push a narrative.

I don't think that's THE problem, but a glaring symptom of the problem.

I don't believe that poll that Harris is up over Trump. She polls worst then Biden just last week. IMO the best ticket the D's could have is Newsom and anyone and would landslide Trump. Harris's best chance would be for her to pick Newsom (assuming the D don't have a mini-primary), as he can actually make a complete sentence unlike Harris or Biden.

The man hunt is on for a guy with a crossbow. Killed 3 women.
Wonder if he shouted "Allahu Akbar" before he did it?

Harris could possibly win. She can buy a lot of votes thru pandering to groups with reparations, reproduction subsidies, LGBQT freebies, amnesty, voting rights for illegals, perhaps others..............kinda .like Joe did with student loans. ......FWB

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
