Stopped into my LGS in Ennis MT today to check out what they had, we see a lot of firearms for sale on consignment here. Unfortunately, because we have a lot of retirees and high dollar vacation homes and ranches in the area, they are usually the collection of someone who has passed away and their family is looking to pass along their Gun collection.

Here is what I saw available on the gun racks today and thought some of the forum members might be looking for one of these guns:

Ruger No 1 Tropical in 458 WM
Ruger No 1 Tropical in 416 Rigby (had never been fired, had a set of die’s with it)
Ruger No 1 Tropical in 375 HH, also looked to be fired very little

They had three other Ruger No 1’s but don’t recall the calibers but you could find them on their website, all of the No 1’s were priced at $1999 each

Winchester Model 70 Safari Express 375 HH listed at $2150
Remington 700 in 375HH with beautiful wood, don’t recall the price

Look up Shedhorn Sports Ennis MT online if you have been looking for any of these rifles. I have no business connection to them, just thought I would share.

Pat

Two of the other Ruger 1’s were a 338WM and a 30-06

My good friend used to work for the forest service in Ennis-he had a neat little house near the lake (I assume there are more than one) but the one time I visited him I loved the area. Beautiful place for certain. Thanks for the heads up on the rifles-

Went and looked at the No. 1’s today, nice rifles! Ended up buying the R8 they had.

Shedhorn is a gun guys candy store!;)
It used to be better back in the day, still has a lot of guns though. Between the store and gunshows, I believe they sold the most firearms in the state. They are good to do business with

Have they changed hands? Seems new people are there from a couple of years ago.

Rob sold it about 2 years ago, some of the same folks, Melissa, that was mostly in the Boot section, is one of the owners. She is an amazing, beautiful lady that really knows the business. They are doing a great job with the place, I’m just a grumpy bastard and don’t like change. I miss the old layout. Seems the reloading section is getting built back up though, we shall see how long that lasts through election season!

Love'em, have three- 30-06, 22-250 and recent acquisition- 375 H&H.

Went in Shedhorn last summer while in town hanging out at Willies Distillery. They had some good stuff in there then! Nice store.

I was really surprised it was still there, I almost bought it two weeks ago and talked myself out of it. I was much weaker today!

Hello,

I saw your post selling left hand rifles. Do you have any additional pics of the .416 Rem mag?

Thank you.

Hello, I saw your post selling left hand rifles. Do you have any other left hand rifles you may let go of? Also can you send a few additional pics of Borden rifle?

Thank you.
