7 Day Trophy Elephant Hunt US$15,000 All Inclusive

Thats a Large Consession Thanks

Great price and a great offer. Hell buff hunts go for more than that in some areas....
But for me shooting a 30 lbs elephant in a cultived crop field is not a trophy elephant hunt. I would rather hunt a tuskless in the jess...
Why do you always do this? So, is it a good offer or not? Or just not good enough for you? You need to spend a little less time on your high horse. No one cares, as it relates to this thread, what you consider a trophy or “enough jess” or your tusk preference. Your post added absolutely no value other than to round out the perpetual hubris we see form your posts. What we should care about is not leaving backhanded, garbage comments on the Offer threads of our sponsors. This will sell and will be a great experience for someone.

AES, I just read you post, thank you. We offer premium hunts at reasonable prices. The reason that we are able to offer hunts at this price is not because we "hunt mealie fields", it is simply because we only have a limited number of permits which means that it would be foolish to waste money attending shows or use agents. 75% of our hunts are repeat clients and there is a good reason for that we provide excellent service at reasonable prices. We just assisted another hunter in an elephant hunt that offered less including the size of the elephant taken, the total cost was over twice what we charge. He is booked with us for next year and not thru his agent.

A Russian has bought one of the elephant hunts and added hippo and croc.
A Member who has hunted with us twice in the past has also booked.
That leaves one unsold.

Again we thank everyone on this forum, who have given us their support.

Hello Lon,

I would love to come hunt with you again! How many of these tags are available?
Hi, Did you receive my reply?

Hello Lon,

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure I can make it out this summer but I'm trying. I'm already booked for South Africa then Tanzania later this fall.

Slider, I have to answer your question concerning trophy. Our elephant permits come from Binga council all permits that we purchase are trophy elephant permits. Resident elephant in Binga district run on the smaller size usually 30 lbs. or less. Non resident coming from Hwange and the Gwaai run bigger, but for the most part under 50lbs. At the moment in our conservancy we have one resident bull that we are estimating at 38lb.

I am confused about one thing. Parks will not allow exportation of tusks under 15kg a side as far as I know. Are CampFire permits different now? Last time I did a CampFire hunt (over 10 years ago) still had to file the paperwork with the Parks. Has that changed? Just trying to stay up to date. Thanks for the info in advance.

Hi Tanks, I am not sure on the weight. I am 90% sure under 15kg can be exported. I know of at least one of our successful imports into the U.S. was under 15kg a side. I just sent a phone text to parks. Maybe I can have the answer today. Oops just got the answer and the answer is "yes". 15 seconds to get the answer and on a Sunday at lunch time.

Thanks again.

I did this his hunt with Lon and Liesl. Great hunt with them. Very fair and honest going back this year for buff and whatever else we find! Not good on computer but pm me if anyone whants more info about this great offer.

Unfortunately some save the elephant group decided to dart and collar two of the elephant (one was already collared). After being darted and collared they have not been seen since.
It is always amazing how fast this can happen. They communicate very efficiently with each other on danger and big change to their area. Kevin Robertson talks about apprentices shooting 10-12 elephant one day for their field exams and overnight, Gonarezhou emptied all of its elephants into Moz like a giant toilet flushing. He said it looked like a stampede with everything flattened. There wasn't a single elephant left and Kevin and others couldn't finish their field exams.

This is a great offer. I'm very interested to hear more of how it goes. 15k is a real sweet price range for this.

If I read it correctly, it is actually a $24K offer assuming you are successful. That is still a very reasonable offer for an exportable bull in this class. You would also be hunting with a well respected outfitter / PH.

Agreed.
However if you are not succesful $15K for one week is a very hefty bill.
More than $2000/day.

I was going off the title, which said 15k all inclusive. Maybe I read it wrong.

It would be a good thing for @Tokoloshe Safaris to clarify (and I am sure he will). $15K all in and only $6K if unsuccessful would indeed be phenomenal.

I read it the same way. But if it's indeed $15K all in, including trophy fee, you simply can't beat this offer.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.

Hi EGS

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
