The mounts pictured are no longer included in the sale but they would work if you had EAW bases designed to fit a model 70 Winchester.

I may be interested in your scope but I'd need to figure out what EAW bases to buy (USA) for a Win 70 that will accommodate the rail. I've never had a scope with a rail so forgive my ignorance here. I'm familiar with EAW Pivot mounts, Talley QDs, others.

I've also got a Marlin 336 Lever action in 35 Remington that scope would be pretty sweet on.

The only rail mount scopes I have any experience with are the antique "prism" style with claw mounts.
I believe a rail system like this is superior to a ring but not very common in the US.

I like the scope very much however I'm going to have to do some additional research regarding bases available to use on a Win 70.

This scope has been sold. Thanks!

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
