Got an email today from Geoff McDonald saying "We hope to resume production in a month or so." Good news.

That's great news! Looking to get some more .410, 400 grain bonded softs for my 450/400 Nitro double. I've been conserving the last 10 bullets for hunting. They easily regulated with Reloader 15.

I'm so happy to have Woodleigh being in Australia, one of the best bullet manufactures in the world and their product is available at a fraction of the cost of other premium brands. We are so lucky to have them. All though I do use some other brands from time to time, I would say 95% of projectiles I use is Woodleigh across all calibres I have in my safe, from 30-06 up to 470NE.

Following with interest.

@Sourdough
The good old Aussie spirit you can't keep a good man down.
Kudos to Geof on a speedy rebuild.

@Aussie_Hunter
You will have to try our Australian made Atomic 29s mate.
Accurate and deadly. Monolith construction

@cajunchefray
That's because Geoff got hold of Kynochs original specs and did projectile for the old gun to original design outside but bonded them to make them even better.

Yeah I have been looking at them, I just feel in general bonded lead soft points perform the best across a wide range of applications, not to mention they are also usually cheaper than monolithic bullets. Having said that Atomic 29 pricing looks similar to that of Woodleighs which is awesome to see and as always it's great to see another Aussie manufacturer. I might try their 250 grain for the 9.3 at some point.

@krish
Even does projectiles for the 348 Winchester mate so you can keep those beautiful 71s shooting.
Bob
Yes they do make 250 gr bullets for the 348. I will buy those. I dont know why they make 250gr solids for the 348. I will also buy 505, 500j , 570 grs bullets. Also 550gr bullets for 450 rigby and few others..

.

I had a chat with Geoff today, he is still hoping to start production in June. He expects first production will likely be 470, then probably 375, then 9.3.

Do you mind me asking what auction you are referencing? I'm not in the market for any of those rifles...just curious.

Good morning from Montana.

I'm looking at a post from 2018 where you were looking for a lefty Winchester in .375 H&H Magnum. I'm selling mine. My email is [redacted] in the event that you're still searching for a unicorn.

Best,

Kelly Palmer
Gents, if you book and pay your deposit before the end of this year , you can have the bigger cull package for the 2026 price! https://www.africahunting.com/threa...griffiths-safaris-starting-at-us-2-560.96285/
