Selling a Winchester Model 70 in a 375 H&H. It has a 1.25x4x20 F1 Schmidt & Bender with a duplex reticle on top.

I purchased this from a friend that purchased it in an auction. I believe it is a post-64 model around 1975. It has some bumps and bruises and has been used. But I believe it is in pretty good shape considering it’s age.

Selling for what I’ve got in it to fund an upgrade. $2200 with optics.

No. That looks to be a 1957 Pre-64. Well, the barreled action at least.
Yes, I was just going to type that. The serial number on the action is from early in 1957

Agree. Pre 64 - Fajen stock? Scope is quite nice as well. GLWTS…

The scope is quite a bit newer, as that model was introduced in 1983. A 1957 Win Model 70 in 375 is quite a find. Priced fairly as well............FWB

75’…..57’. Got to love the aging process. aka CRS
At least that makes it one of the good ones being a pre-64.

As far as the fajen stock, might that explain the grip shape? Thought it was different compared to every other m70 I have ever had in my hands. Old and new alike.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
