I bought a barreled action from another forum member a while back. I happened to have a B&C stock with an aluminum bedding block and a one-piece bottom metal, follower and spring, so I put it all together.

I never have got around to doing anything else with it. I haven't shot it and it appears unfired, except for the factory test firing. The floor plate is aluminum and still in the white. To make it pretty, I would need to fix the gouge I made when bedding the stock--you can see it in the pictures--and cerakote the bottom metal. I don't worry about pretty for my own stuff so I am not motivated to do that.

Whole rifle, $1100 shipped to your FFL in CONUS. Barreled action, $900 shipped to your FFL in CONUS.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
