These contests are always done by random drawing and that is just pure luck. If it was the other way around and only prolific posting and long time members were the winners, the same could be said. These contests bring out some of the members who are on the site regularly but who do not participate much.I think this may be the 3rd or 4th in a row that a "new member" has won. thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
