Where to find brass?

I have not cronoed the load but, I used 61grs of H4895 with a 215 primer. I am getting less than 1” at a hundred yards. My rifle is an older Husqvarna Mauser action that I had a trigger install and shorten to 20” with a break installed.

If you are using H4895 you don't need magnum primers. It is the same powder as our ADI 2206H.
According to my a max load of 64 grains of 4895 with a 225grain in your 358 gives 2,890 fps out of a 24 inch barrel.
Boyd and all others I'm not trying to be rude or offend any one but attached is some reloading data for the Whelen and the 358 Norma mag.
In some cases the Whelen is close to or better than the Norma

I can't explain this maybe someone with more knowledge than I could help
I do hope this lays to rest anyone doubting my loads and velocities. Yes there are such things as fast and slow barrels but my velocities ore within 50 to 75 fps of advertising. My barrel is a 25 inch stainless barrel 1in 12 made by MAB in Australia the reamer my gunsmith used had only been used to chamber 1 barrel before mine. He also used a 357mag throated to enable me to seat most projectiles to 3.4 overall length.
So as you can see there is NO magic to getting the Whelen to work well.
