I was fortunate enough to shoot an eland a few months ago. Because I am out of room for what would be such a large shoulder mount I am doing a euro mount and having the hide made into leather. I am not sure how durable or pliable eland is so I am hoping the vast experience base here at Africahunting can give some ideas on what to do with a LOT of leather headed my way.
My cape buffalo backskin was turned in to boots and a purse with leather left over so I do like to use everything I can from an animal.
Thanks
