What is your deadliest weapon???

probably a ruger single 6 22 mag have been using it since 8-9 for pest control on the farm and small game hunting, traped hog tool

Hunting rifle ruger 77 in 6 mm Remington

As far as game killed mine would be a Ruger American .17HMR, taken well over a couple thousand gophers so far from the local hay fields

My drinking hand...finished off the odd person over the years :E Big Grin: :D Beers:
My brain. It controls everything I do. For firearms: self defense and home protection it's my S&W 1911 stuffed with 230g Black Talons. For hunting would be my MRC American Legend 30-06 with appropriate bullet for the task at hand.

Difficult question because I use very different “weapons” for the various opportunities afforded me. Most of the “book” trophies I have taken have been with archery equipment-Hoyt and PSE.
My Winchester sx2 is my waterfowling partner-plain black and boring, consistently effective, snipe to swans.
But Africa has given me chances to hunt some really cool big game with various rifles. Love them all, hard to say one is more effective than another-they all get the job done.

Simson Suhl 35E

Its older than myself.

For those not familiar with German shotguns: that is a double barrel, double trigger, side by side, ejector, 12/70 shotgun, made the traditional way, in the DDR.

Many say their brain.

I wish I could say that my brain has controlled all that I have and have not done through my life...

Sometimes I trusted my instincts, sometimes the feeling in my gut and sometimes my brain.

But I always had the most fun when I listened to the little head with no brain between my legs.....

Remington 870 12ga. I have shot moose, deer, boar, and various species of birds with this rifle. Someone says that pump-action rifles are not very suitable for hunting. I've never agree with that.

And if we talk about a single beast and a weapon for it, then it will be a Sako 85 Kodiak in caliber .375 H&H Mag. I shot most of my bears with it.

My Sauer 16 gauge SxS has killed the most raw numbers. No idea how many peasant, grouse, quail, dove, etc it has taken over the last 25 years.

For rifles my Pre-64 Model 70 30-06. My great-grandfather bought it in 1948 when his eyes got bad enough he had to retire his Model 94 and get something with a scope. I’ve killed a lot of deer with it as well as coyotes assorted other targets of opportunity. It’s wearing new glass this year and hopefully will add a pronghorn and Carpathian chamois to the tally by years end.

I would have to say my .22LR that has accounted for well over a thousand rabbits when numbers were high enough. These days viral haemorrhagic disease has pretty much wiped them out. After that it will be a toss up between my old Tikka .308 Winchester and my heavily modified Rem 700 in 7mm Rem Mag that will have shot well over 150 deer each. Mainly with light for calibre Barnes TTSX that work beautifully!

Volume in general? A Browning Citori GTI 12ga with 28" barrels which has accounted for hundreds of pheasant and chukar. The Bug-A-Salt is catching up on smaller, winged critters though....

Big game is definitely a CZ 550 .375 H&H.

I have to agree with @odonata lol My bug assault has buckets of flies, bees, and wasps!
With rifles it’s a split between my brothers custom Remington 700 in 308 and my Winchester M70 in 264WinMag…. Both have gotten a bunch of game in Arizona, New Mexico, and Wyoming.
Pistol my Beretta 92 that has two notches on it from armed assailants that walked into the wrong business!

My daystate huntsman Revere ( killed 70 pigeons the first weekend I had it) and then probably the m110a2

Back After a Long Time – Hello Again!

Hi everyone,

I’ve been a member since 2015 but haven’t been active since 2017. Life got busy, especially with building my second business. Still, I’ve kept my passion for hunting and followed things from afar. Now that I have more time, I’m excited to reconnect, contribute, and be part of the community again.

All the best,
ANDY

I'd like a bag of 100. I could actually pick it up since I'm in North Irving, but if you prefer, shipping it is fine.
